The really amazing thing is how relatively flawed this run is. He was SO much better than you see here. Brian Spicer at 17 years old could hear God's metronome.

Dude the amount of belief I have in this statement is immense. After a certain point of being involved in the marching arts, you can just tell when you see someone play. You can see what they can do, and what they could do, and what they aren't showing you lmao

funny story bout this guy. the percussion instructor for my high school is associated with a lot of cavaliers and dci guys. this guy is actually my school's instructor's former roommate's little brother. he told me at the time brian was a junior in high school, he marched cavies for 2 years and got bored of it. haha he also told me for the solo brian played with nerf bats

I just love how he did the Blue Devil's "Ditty" snare and bass parts one handed. It's freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ Kelsey. The Ditty was a on-field warm up, not cadence. The Blue Devils street beat at the time was "Dick."

Im pretty sure he wrote it himself. He was our durmline coach and I remember him saying he wrote it. I could be wrong though.

Its actually just Ditty, which is the original cadence written in the 90s. dit-08 was written in 2008 as a "remix" theres actually a video where one of the snare players says, ditty the remix.
