She didn't half keep herself a secret. I didn't know until fairly recently, a substantial number of the songs I had been bopping along to in my whole youth were written by her. And I still love them all.

This is fantastic loved the Herman's Hermits version but this is fun, surprised how well their vocals compliment the song, don't know why I should be surprised given the pedigree of the artists. Song just makes me Smiley Smile 😃

The Cookies version is my favorite, followed by Herman's Hermits rendition. I thought Brian Wilson and Carole King butchered it. It's a shame CK didn't record I'm Into Somethin' Good when she first wrote it, as she did with Pleasant Valley Sunday, before making it one of the most successful singles for The Monkees.

@@albertdesalvo7273 I struggled intially with the The Beach Boy Love You album which Brian Wilson produced in a similar vein but for many it holds a special place for them likewise I enjoyed the upbeat feel of this take on the song and by having both male and female leads which combined to make you feel as if they are Into Something Good. We all have our favourite versions of songs for one reason or other, I had never heard The Cookies version I was quite young when the Herman's Herman's version was released in the UK so might be why I missed it.

The song was released as a bonus track on a particular edition of "That Lucky Old Sun", but I don't know where you can find that edition of the album www.discogs.com/Brian-Wilson-That-Lucky-Old-Sun/master/171763 You may be able to find it somewhere online, but I don't know where without doing the searching, and I will leave that to you. You could just download the song from here, and burn it to a blank CD. You can download an MP3 of the audio by using a website like this ytmp3.cc/en13/ You can use programs such as Windows Media Player or Winamp to burn MP3 files to a CD-R.
