Is there a particular term for this sort of layout, instead of it being the traditional vertical block layout? I ask cos I am putting a planning application together for a retaining wall, which will have a fence fitted to the top and this is the sort of layout I need to do, to give me the sufficient depth of the block to bolt down the fence post clamps. Thanks for the clear video too on the setup

Hi, love the video. I'm about to tackle my first wall, same blocks laying flat , about 13 long 5 high. I have only ordered one bulk bag of builders sand. Will that be enough and how many bags of cement do you think I will need? Thank you in advance 👍
@thewelshbuilder2454

Yes that be plenty of sand, 5 bags of cement would do fine and put a tiny amount of fairy washing liquid in, it makes the mix better 👍
