As a webflow expert, I love how similar this is. I can't wait to build with it! - webflow is amazing but just expensive for my programmatic seo sites.

This is very refreshing to watch, some other Bricks tutorials are just insanely indepth which is good for advanced users but this was much easier to understand for the basic/beginner user.

Appreciate that you share your knowledge of Web design and relate it to an overview of Bricks Builder. One suggestion. Since this is a beginners video tutorial, you should know it is hard to follow your tasks when you hide the selection steps from your viewers. Example: you talk about performing a task, however there is seldom any mention of the mechanics of say: right-clicking or holding down a modifier key first to enable the selection. Lack of these enabling details is not uncommon for teachers who know their subject so well and are accustom to performing complex tasks quickly, and effortlessly. I appreciate that you are trying to cover alot of material in a time condensed video tutorial, however the result for me, a Bricks beginner, becomes so confusing, because there seem to be missing steps in the selection mechanics, that I want to bail 30% thru your presentation and find another KZitem Bricks tutorial that might not cover as many features as you, but I can follow the required steps for each task more thoroughly. I have taken the time to leave the above comment, because I think you are very skilled in your Web design craft and have made an effort to help others learn from your knowledge and experience. Teaching beginners is a special skillset that takes time and practice. There is no doubt this Bricks tutorial would be perfect for viewers who already have experience with the Bricks UI and/or good Webpage design skills. -- many regards. (I have subscribed to your Flux Academy channel and will return to it when I have more Bricks UI experience myself)

@@TACDetective I’m not sure what you’re referring to? In Webstudio, you’re not locked into Wordpress, and you’re able to fairly easily able to build a nice site that’s lean and fast as hell. Some of the foundational substrate of webstudio has fixed problems that still exist and slowdown webflow. They also have been doing regular updates. To me they’re very promising.

Nice video. But just one note about the widow. You can't prevent it especialy in webs because web site is responsive. So there will always be these kinds of typographics mistakes. Or if you use fluid grid then the width of elements isn't fixed also.

Question: I've been working with the FlexBlock Editor from Flo Themes. However, Flo Themes has now been acquired by Pixiset and simply shut down. Support for the Flex Block Editor ends at the end of September. Now, to my question. When I designed a page with the FlexBlock Editor, the limits of what could be done were only limited by my imagination. Once I had a page ready, I could switch to the editor for the mobile version of the page and adjust everything independently of the desktop version so that my page always looked good, whether on mobile or desktop. On the desktop, it didn't matter if I had a 4K monitor, a full HD one, or a 1440p monitor open. It didn't matter how I resized or enlarged my browser; everything was responsive down to the last detail. Is this also possible with Bricks? Or will my page look good on Full HD but bad on mobile? Or will my page on 4K desktops look like it's from 1999?

I'm confused as to how licencing works with Bricks Builder. If I have paid a 1 year subscription and build out a site for a customer, what happens if you don't renew? Is the site no longer online, or is it online and you just can't make any edits? I'm not opposed to renewing but I want to be able to explain and justify costs to any potential clients.

Your site will be online, however you are not be able to update the newest version of the the theme, that includes updates in developmet and security. However I don’t think is several for your client site.

@Skratchable

you can definitely use Bricks with zero coding knowledge. I had some people on our team who had only used drag and drop builders like Divi and Elementor and while there was a small learning curve, they are WAY faster now! and we use CSS framework to make development and design even faster! They have since learned some more CSS but barely any and they are building way better sites than elementor.divi days.

It depends on for who are you recommending it. I'm a Oxygen user, so for me Breakdance is a hard no - I love working with classes and I want them to be quickly accessible, as it is with Oxygen or Bricks. I know that there is market for builders like Breakdance, but you really shouldn't compare these two.
