I just got some brand new T31’s on my 06 Yamaha R6 and one thing i notice the rubber on them feels harder than other tires. Another thing is yes they do grip well you can feel it when you ride. Overall good tires 👌🏾

I'm a new subscriber Adam, I really like the vibe your videos have, and you can clearly ride a bit! ;-). I would like more detailed feedback on the actual product you are using because I know you have a lot of knowledge to share. So... did the tyre turn in well? Would you say it was quick steering? Or more toward stable? Maybe it was comfort oriented? Did it feel supple and planted? Confident on the side when leaning over? Did you get a chance in the wet? Could you compare to Pirelli or Michelin? This is what I want to hear from someone with all your talent! Shiny side up, friend...

Thanks and great review Adam. Would you consider this the stickiest touring tire on dry paved roads?

So the picture of you in the rain was on the BT-023? Are you working on that video and will it be coming soon? Will there be a comparison between those tires and these? I think they're great tires once they get heated up. I've only had them break loose one time coming through a corner that was rough on the street, and it unloaded the suspension. Got a new rear spring to hopefully cure that. I'll see how well they do on the Dragon here next month.

Correct - that tire is OE fitment on the 2018 MT-07. No, I'm not going to have a video on the BT-023 tire nor a comparison between the two offerings at this time. On another note, what motorcycle are you riding?

Adam, help me out. I really want these tires on my z900 but I put t30 EVO on my zrx1200 (heavier bike) and I was surprised how harsh the ride was over rough sections of road compared to the bt-023 I had just taken off the zrx. Are the t31 just as rigid as the t30 EVO? (My other choice is the Roadtec 01) (Which do you recommend?)
@AdamWaheed
6 жыл бұрын
What's going on? Yes, the T31's have similar rigidity as the T30 EVO's - maybe even a tad more. I haven't ridden on the Roadtec's so I can't speak for their performance. As I mentioned to MotoBoy, would like to put together a low-budget sport-touring tire comparison this spring - I think that way we can sort them out together as an group. How does that sound?
@blipco5

When you say low budget, you mean the video production right? Which is fine, it's info we are looking for. Because the Metzler is not a low budget tire. I've been using the Bridgestone bt series and now the T series forever. Bang for the buck, performance, mileage, cost, you simply can not beat the Bridgestone ST tires.

Was really considering these for the Versys 650! How would you say they compare to the Road 3/4, the new Road 5, and the Dunlop RoadSmart II?

MotoBoy: A great question as always. Hard to compare these product offerings at this time. Will try and put together a low-budget and simple sport-touring tire comparison though in the next few months. How does that sound?

Great to hear. I have actually been looking for some comparisons of older hoops myself. Right now I'm on the BT-023. I'm looking for something with a quicker turn in, and at least the same mileage. Idk what exactly to look for to get both of those. Only other thing I've considered is dropping to a 120/60 front on my 06 GSXR 750. Maybe you can clue me in on that or a good tire choice to help me in that department.
@DearMajesty
6 жыл бұрын
Hmm, I would think dropping from a 120/70 to a 120/60 would slow turn in due to a flatter profile. However, in theory the front of the bike will also be lower, which is supposed to increase turn-in. But, if my memory serves me correctly, the 06-09 GSXR 600/750's already steer pretty quickly...so quickly that the front pushes a bit. I think most racers remedy this geometry issue by actually adding fork extenders and raising the bike!
