Many of us have been waiting for Jordan to leave since he joined lmao. He was the catalyst for their "new sound" (back in the early 2010s) BMTH invented deathcore, then blended a bit of melody, then went full on metalcore with Jordan (sempiternal- the one that really pushed them to a more mainstream audience; Not a bad album but very different from what made them innovative and unique) and from there it just got more and more generic, less and less interesting ect... Post human survival horror was good, Next gen is good, and I'm hopeful for their new stuff without Jordan. Oli already started screaming a bit more... We might be SO back.

@carolinecoy3164

Maybe he hasn't got the confidence to be the front man, he loves doing the tech side, that's where he's comfortable. He always seems extremely shy and self conscious in interviews. And I think Oli would be happy to big his buddy up and let him do main vocals sometimes if he wanted to. Maybe he will do the if track he's m here and there in the future, but when he's ready. He might have a good voice in little spurts but not for long periods of time, like just certain tones, I know I can sing certain tones very well, I've been told I have a great voice, but if I try to do any high notes at all, im in trouble, and you have to be able to cover a wide scale when it comes to singing a full track professionally with power behind it. And I think that's the case with Jordan, I've heard him singing, and he is very pitchy at times.
@JimberinoILV
Жыл бұрын
I actually don't think he has what it takes to be a top tier frontman. His singing voice is good but isn't unique or interesting but he IS the perfect voice to back up Oli with harmonies. No hate on him though he's great :)

He’s dog shit in his growth honestly. When you got someone like Mike from TDWP still killing it on all levels and continuing to grow his sound. Oli has his own thing sure, but his sound now, is nothing like it use to be. It regressed, not progressed, and he NEEDED background vocals to make tracks have power anymore because of how badly he destroyed his vocal chords.

Jordan is a musical god and the glue of BMTH
@carolinecoy3164
Жыл бұрын
I would say Oli and Jordan are equal glue parts. I've watched their "making of" videos, and they work together and both have the same amount of input. Jordan cannot write songs the way Oli does, the lyrics, and the ideas behind the videos and directing of the videos is as important as the musical and technical side, I'm not doubting he's a genius at all, but Jordan doesn't decide all the musical ideas by himself, Oli has input there too.. the fact that Oli and Jordan created and put together 95% of the survival horror by themselves over zoom is amazing. And you can't take away from either of their abilities. The fact that they do it so well and can have a laugh throughout what looks like a very stressful process is what makes then the best way what they do. There's only thing I would say that BMTH needs more of, is guitar solos. I love a good guitar solo, done well obviously 🤣🤣
