Old Fred would be a good platform for someone wanting to make a tiny house on wheels. I've seen videos of a couple of those that were really neat rigs. Thanks for revisiting the Rockabilly, that's a favorite of mine, I remember watching the video where you brought it home. All the best to you and Victor.

I "wish" I had video of bringing it home but that was long before youtube.. I only have 2 pictures of it sitting in a garage when I bought it. maybe thats what you saw. can't believe I built that truck 15 years ago!

My "rememberer" isn't what it used to be. The first video I remember seeing on your channel was about the Rockabilly, I had searched for "old truck build" or some such. I guess it was the first one about the truck on your channel, where you brought it into the garage. You still have one of my very favorite channels, I really admire your creativity, vision, and skill.

Ya know, when you were talking about meeting old Fred, it reminded me of my first ride in the 1972 F250 my dad's cousin had that he sold me in 1992. He ordered It new from Van Eaton Ford in Eatonville, WA. It just so happens that first ride took place just a few miles out of town where you are at. We were at Lake Chelan in spring or summer 1977. Dad's cousin had a big old boat he hauled with that truck. I got to take a short little ride from the parking lot down to the boat launch. I still remember that little ride to this day and still have the truck.

I was wondering how the Rat was doing, and sure enough, here's a video featuring it. It's like Waylon read my mind! 😁 And Fred probably doesn't mind sitting around, but he could use a change of scenery. Wish I had the proper place and budget for Fred...one thing's for sure, he's already used to cold, so he'd be right at home in my area. And be a heck of a daily driver!

I was only reading yesterday that classic cars are at risk of going extinct because there’s less and less people that can work on them. I get it. My stepson is a heavy diesel mechanic. He bought a 63 Impala low rider and was amazed that I could tune the two barrel carb and ignition points. I think my dogs would know how to do that by now. Then again, I might not be able to diagnose a computer fault on a D11 Cat either.(or can I?)

Whooooie, I think Rockabilly is one of my favorite projects you have done. I know exactly what he needs to meet his full potential. Some of your metal art, in the form of an ol'time still looking contraption in the bed. Think of the fun of dreaming up, and fabbin up that piece of steam punk excellence. Just an idea for ya. I know, just what ya need, another crazy idea from some clown. Well, I'll keep watchin anyway. Be well friend. I'm rootin fer ya.
