Today I'm performing a reset scalp on my bermuda lawn. I realize that my grass isn't 3 feet tall, but with bermuda, once you miss a couple mow days, you have to perform a reset scalp to bring your height of cut (HOC) back down. Without scalping, you'll have trouble maintaining a green lawn. Scalping during the growing season is like hitting the reset button on your lawn, and then you can set your desired height of cut. This will work with 1 inch tall bermuda as well as 1 foot tall bermuda. The principles remain the same.
