I’m in NC and have a banana plant that I didn’t know was banana until it fruited this summer! Every year prior it us grown lots of leaves and some new stalks, in the winter goes totally brown and I have never done anything to it and it just comes back to life in the spring! Three years and this is the first time it’s flowered, now that I know I’m gonna start taking care of it and hope the fruit ripens!

They look good. Yes it’s bad when frost comes when you are growing bananas.

Hey man love the bananas. Your idea of saving the rac inside eith part if the stem is epic, awesome and inspiring. I'm soi glued to the channel now. Thanks for all the cool vidz and helpful info. Really genius idea, because it would seem to work, yet for how long is my question 🤔 it'll be exciting to see the update and if bananas need the whole plant to finish ripening or not. You might be on to something profitable. Peace N Love

Great video, I’d like to ask a question I have a flowering plant that will not mature. This is my second year I didn’t even know that once it flowers it would die so I’m not gonna try and save that tree. However, it does have four pups there about a foot to 2 feetmy question is when I take in separate the pups do I put them in soil or do I let them sit in the basement with just a root.

My musa basjoo finally flowered in October. I am wondering if we can save the flower by wrapping some incandescent light bulb that will add some warmth

I stay about an hour from Atlanta. Mine around an easy 10ft high. Can I leave them in the ground and just put hay and leaves over them to keep them from getting frost bitten? @georgiafarmingwithfluevog
