Back when Edward Colston was still honored for his contributions to this once great city.

Didn’t the centre look rather good? I remember it so well. I worked in Small Street as an office junior…many miles walking round delivering mail by hand to other offices. Got to know that area like the back of my hand. Appreciated the music, very nice.

This was as it was when I was a teenager, lived in Bishopston area, a happier time and a cleaner city. Dancing at the Top Rank or The Glen, High str full of shops and much, much prettier girls than tattoo carrying lumps of lard we see on a daily basis now. Unmarried motherers? yes, but very few, it was still a badge of shame then, today, it's a badge of honour. Time has not been kind to this city after a constant succession of Labour Councils making a right mess of everything. Would I recommend you move to Bristol today.....No
