I've lived in tropical countries and desert/savanna (sahel) countries. You may not have the lions and tigers of the savanna in tropical countries but you still have boa constrictors, pythons the size of a 2 lane street, elephants and crocodiles and hippos in both types of countries, orangutans (NEVER mess with them), gorillas, panthers, killer insects (bees, flies, mosquitoes, etc.) and all the poisonous snakes that ever existed. Some of those snakes look like the vines on the trees until you see them coming for you and you only have 1 second to split.

No! No! I will not allow Americans to be disparaged over our lack of knowing foreign languages. Look, you Brits live in Europe, where Every Country speaks a different language. As your travels and the many foreigners in your own country, you have access to a dozen languages. You’ve heard bits and pierces of them all. People intermarry, or move. So, there’s an easier access pool than we have. What do we have? Well, Canada to the north, whom mostly speak English, even if they won’t admit it, and Mexico to the south, and to be fair, a growing number of people are learning Spanish, through personal contact, which we’d never sought before. To the East and the West we have two Great Bug bodies of water, called Oceans, I believe. So, if I want to go visit a European country for 2 weeks that speaks another language, why in the world would I take the enormous time to learn that language at home, by myself the hard way, for basically a one night stay? Think about it. It’d be like if Americans’ 50 states all spoke different languages, ones no one on your continent speaks as a first language. Would you learn a new language for every place you’d want to visit? Yes, we ask. We try, but in the end you have to ask. Just maybe give me a little smile for trying so hard? After all, I’m only human and I did visit your country for reasons.

Countries like Ecuador do not want foreigners to have two citizenships. They want you to be loyal to their nation. This rule also applies to other nationalities as well, not just Americans. In fact, until a few years ago, Britain did not allow dual-nationality, except for a few exceptions. Many nations in Europe have stricter nationality laws even today. America doesn't have any dual nationality laws, but it also doesn't encourage Americans becoming a citizen of another country. Dual nationality can complicate travel depending on the nations in question.

Philippines is a great option as well. You can live very well on $1200 per month. Plus the women love western men there, especially Americans. Filipino women like older men bcuz they're more stable. Filipino men usually cheat and leave if they get their girlfriend pregnant. Therefore, there a quite a few single moms. They're petite, average height is 5' tall. They're very attractive and won miss universe 2 straight years and runner up the next. Lots of great music too.

@@kabirconsiders yeah and you can't buy any land there until you are a Swiss citizen....so I might be able to buy a house there if I just said it was a vacation house. But I would have to have a citizen from Switzerland renting it out 9 months a year for it to be possibly legal. They have all kinds of crazy laws and I think it takes 9-12 years to become a citizen and that's not by marrying in either like people do in the U.S.😂😂😂 I just want like a 750,000 Euro house in Zermatt, Switzerland (at the base of the Matterhorn) when I retire but if they are gonna make it so damn difficult I can blow my money in Miami, Florida or wherever I want in the The U.S. anytime all the time 😂👋

Great video! I have wondered about this as well. My wife is divided but I really want to move out of the US. I spent 2 years in Germany and loved it and my wife went on a mission trip to Belize. The biggest thing keeping us here is debt, largely connected to our house, which is also our biggest asset. So we are kind of stuck. That being said, if I had to pick a country, I have a few in mind. First and foremost I believe someone should speak the language of the country they are moving to, and as joked, I only speak English fluently. Because of that, without learning a language, English speaking countries (those with a very large number of English speakers) are at the top of my list. Number 1 for me is Denmark, mainly because I am mostly Danish. Other Scandinavian countries come next as my wife is a mutt, but is mostly Scandinavian with a splash of Great Britain. After that it would be Canada. I just don't want to deal with heat all year long. I will throw this country in there...Kyrgyzstan...I was deployed there and went off base a lot. The people are great and it is absolutely beautiful. You really can't beat the prices. If you have some type of pension, it's perfect. You can have a fancy meal there around 10 USD. You can buy a house by the river in the Himalayan mountains for 100K USD. The main issue with it is you won't find high paying jobs, it's more kind of a retirement thing or if you do something online.

Denmark is an awesome country. At least, Copenhagen is. So modern, clean and the people are nice. Only thing is I’d want to learn the language, even though English is widely spoken. Did Kyrgyzstan have all of the infrastructure that you would need?
@kevinathans4191

@@xoxxobob61 Considered that, especially since we want a small place. The issue is we still need a place to live afterwards...even if we downsized we would end up paying more. Apartments in the area start at $1,500 a month, which is about what our mortgage costs us. With all the factors it just doesn't make sense at this point.

@@kabirconsiders As far as Kyrgyzstan I would guess it comes down to what you are looking for. I can't say that I know what most of the country looks like. I assume most of it is very rural so you wouldn't necessarily be living a life of luxury but their capital is just fine. Most of my time was spent on our air base but all of our supplies and services came from the local area. The base was being built up and the supplies and workers came from their population.
