Served in the Royal Dragoon Guards for 4 years now, the Army gets much better from basic training. Keep up the good work and focus on getting a good report in Phase 2 so when you get to your regiment they know you're a reliable soldier. Well done for smashing it 👏

Just came across your videos, really helpful stuff. I'm in a bit of a similar situation to what you were in, I was previously doing basic training at AFC Harrogate but I ended up with injuries and told I was going to be back trooped which made me lose motivation to the point of me writing my DAOR letter. I have regretted leaving ever since I've gotten home so I reapplied and I now have a date for Adult intake at Pirbright. This video has helped me gain an insight into what it is like, does not sound too much different from Harrogate. I'm definitely looking forward to a fresh start.

For months now while applying I’ve been watching KZitem videos and could only find more men then women. So it’s nice to finally come across a woman soldier talking about her experience.

I go to training in a month and I've got a couple questions. How much swimming was done during training and was there any people you trained with that couldn't swim? I can't swim and it's the only thing I'm worried about. Also, what's the situation with doing laundry? And is there any bits that you didn't take, but wish you did?
@Belle-lt7cj
2 жыл бұрын
Yeah there was a fair few people that couldn’t swim, they’ll just do a different type of lesson with you:) they take laundry like 2-3 times a week for you, you don’t do it yourself. And watch my packing vid, this was pretty accurate I’d say :)

I have a legitimate question as an American I’ve always been curious about? Are the founding fathers of the United States still wanted criminals by the British government for treason, insurrection and killing thousands of British troops in their quest and eventual victory for independence? If so in that you are an agent of the British army I have sad news for you. The founding fathers are long gone. They died a long time ago. As a matter of fact the ring leader, George Washington, a former colonel in the British army actually became the leader of the United States not as king but as the president, a leader with not total power. He got away with the alleged crimes and lived out the rest of his life in freedom in America after his insurrection, treason and ordering of killing thousands of British troops so if there still awaiting a British court Marshall then your British government has failed to capture them.
