Not gonna lie as a Texan who is constantly in Louisiana, the title confused tf out of me truly. “Louisiana BBQ” isn’t a thing… it’s just not. That’s not disrespectful at all, my Louisiana friends even got confused lol. They’re the king of seafood and delicious Cajun food. It’s purely availability. Kansas City. Tennessee, OKC, central Texas, east texas… those are types of BBQ. Louisiana isn’t one. And my Louisianan wife will tell you the same lmfao. She’s legit here confused as I am right now

It has to be stated: this is a Texan style BBQ spot in New Orleans. “Louisiana BBQ” isn’t a thing and people in Louisiana will assume you’re making some kinda joke and smile out of politeness. Very good advice. If I had to say one suggestion when you travel when it comes to food. And that is to erase what you think words are describing. A baked potato or jacket potato that you know is not the same as you will get when you travel. Don't say I won't have that because I don't like it in the UK. Try it then decide. What Ollie says about the Potato Soup is ridiculous. It's not watery mash. He's got a restriction in his mind and it's blocking his ability to taste freshly what he is eating. That's only over come in time if he was to stay long enough to try it one or more times again in the future.

We were quite surprised and pleased with our findings we actually liked and enjoyed grits! I would encourage Gaynor to give it another try, and Aiden should give them a try as well.
