Thanks for posting this! I'm looking forward to November and December. But please don't stop then. Make your Mum's farm a continuing series. It's much better by far than what's on tv.

Firstly, I absolutely love these vids! Secondly, how many ewes and cows does your mother have? What happened to the pigs and geese? Regards from the cold north of Europe, in Sweden we just had the first snow on the farm.

Wonderful series!Hope you all continue with the show. I know it is dry and boring but how is your P & L sheets balanced? How many acres do you operate and please show more of your silage storage and other feed storage. Do you milk your cows? Thank You!

We have a few guard goats in with our sheep. This means that the cost of fencing goes from €.50 per m to €5.50 per m! If water can get through my fence then so can the goats. But they come for pets and wait for me to bend down so they can ‘kiss’ me on the chin....if they were nasty they would go to market.

This is amazing. To see the progression isn't shared often. You're the perfect candidate for the series with your early ignorance to farming, perfect for viewers who aren't clued in on what goes on in farming. Seeing the passion your mam puts into her animals is humbling. I come from a farming background, I helped my father for years early on but always took a dislike to farming. It's hard work, it's a grind in bad weather etc. But as my father and myself grow older, I find myself drawn too it more. He needs more help than he's ever needed and I'm starting to like helping him more than when I was a teenager. When you're finished this project and look back on this in 50 years, you will be so glad to have this footage. I hope you get commissioned to do more of this kind of stuff. Especially equestrian, it's such an amazing industry will a lot of money invested in it, yet there is little to no behind-the-scenes footage. Well done on this and thanks for sharing your year with us.

That's making me really missing doing the farm work now. Glad to see things are going well for you a part from u still missing 3 sheep. Jacobs are the same u carnt keep them in unless you have a flock off them we just had one we were given she had 2 really nice lambs but she went on walk abouts and we lost her and the lambs but I was on about 10 then. So 41 years ago. Time flies when you are on the farm. But I think the older you get it goes even quicker. All the best for winter. From Andy
