Nice work. I really like the small story you've got with the sapper telling a joke or a little story of his own. Very cool.

thx mate, I spotted them all kinda looking like that when i went to glue them onto bases. Thought it'd be nice to have a little narrative for them

I used to get them from lots of different companies. Luke’s APS sells some nice ones over in his shop. Geek gaming. These days I make my own. I use this kzitem.info/news/bejne/kaKYzZWYm6tyhJw

Hi been watching your videos and love the painting. I am new to painting Napoleonic figures and not sure what system of wargaming I am likely to pursue. I notice you base four figures per base. Is this good for most systems and what bases do you use? Also what is your preferred base coat. Many thanks for the videos ken

Thanks Buddy. There are 2 kinds of ways to base your minis that are the most popular. 4 men to a base like mine on a 40x40 base. With 6 bases for a battalion (this can vary except for French) Or 6 minis to a base 60x40 and again 6 bases. I went with 4 just because I could build armies quicker that way with less minis to paint and because it works out cheaper. I tend to use a grey undercoat but for the British I sometimes use the GW red or the Army painter Dragon red spray cans to save time as that gives me a good base coat.

Peezebeuponyou thanks mate. Haha yes. Mistakes were made in the early days and I didn’t include them. The peninsula guys I painted recently now have light company as well as grenadiers.

Peezebeuponyou I blame warlord for only giving you 4 guys with the birds nest shoulder epaulets in the box of 24 lol. Forgot to use the little ones they give you to glue on. I’ve sold all those units now. So next time I paint them I’ll get it right. I’ll probably base them in 2’s. if I remember

@@leont66wargaming31 Yep- you really need five flank coy figures in a box of 24. Warlord know what they're doing, lol.
