👌Nice. Thank you. I like the telegraphy key. I think it might have been a WT 8 AMP? The set sounds surprisingly stable on TX.

Allo! In 1943, U-537 crew, installed an automatic weather radio station. Transmitter was a Lorenz 150 FK sending on 3940 Khz. Do you have such a transmitter? That would be an interesting topic. The frequency appears to me, a bit low for propagation back to Europe. Antenna was a 10 meter vertical. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_Station_Kurt

Yes, I have. www.la6nca.net/tysk/lo40k/lo150f1.jpg LO 150 FK 41s is a special version of the transmitter L040K39 used for automatic weather stations. This weather stations vas placed out in the Arctic region. The transmitter was mounted in metal tubes with same diameter as torpedoes. The weather station was placed out by a submarine.

@LA6NCA

Takk for kommentaren. Jeg tror alt var kryptert. Tror de benyttet en engangskryptering. Kan undersøke nærmere.

I forgot to show that I set up the antenna. There is a 48 meter long wire attached to a fishing pole on a nearby hill. This is a 5/8 wavelength. I always use this.
