That laser definitely improves accuracy. Nice shooting. Almost had a broadhead collision again there.

Steambow is cool - i already own an adder fully kitted out and a cobra/tomcat pistol with a 140ib limb. No magazine though as powerful and cool as it is, cockin is difficult. So i wanted a magazine pistol to match the adder - i thought about what you have or steambow varient. Instead i bought the vlad for 2 reasons. Well...3 but the third is subjective. 1 - its build quality is better, folding stock being metal etc 2 - its trigger is a proper trigger like the adder, as in properly gated etc, not the same lift over system my tomcat/cobra mk1 has and is purposely designed as opposed to just building on the mankung/tomcat2 platform. Although technically that would give you more scope to customise; there is plenty enough piccitini rails etc on the vlad and even a very cool place for a cylinder laser too sit (literally in the middle at the front recessed in!) 3 - purely subjective. I think it looks better and as stated seems to be better built... but the trigger definitely is what really swayed me.

Hi again, Vlad's great and all but I still hear from clients that it jams and bolts don't get seated on the rail properly (not my own experience as I don't own a Vlad) but I do know this that the Vlad is a 90lbs limb with a 5" powerstoke so its not any more powerful than an 80lbs limb with a 6.2" powerstoke (like my systems platform) metal construction is fine if that's what you prefer but polymer is light and doesn't rust, I have had no problems with my polymer crossbows and they get shot often at events we host, and my personal unit has seen well over 2500 shots by now with out any issues, errors or failures. My adder however collects dust in the corner because it's slow, heavy and not well constructed for a metal crossbow people constantly break trigger gate claws and lever arms, now the real issie with the adder is that it jams and shatters bolts in the magazine. So yeah you can pay 3-4 times the price for some repeating crossbows but that doesn't mean you are getting value for your money. As far as trigger mechanisms go the less moving parts the better, I don't ever have to worry about my trigger breaking, so what if it pushes the strong over a corner, it's simple and effective, my mag system bypasses the "safety" so you can just cock and shoot and repeat, no extra steps in between.

@@CrossTactics many thanks for explaining your reasoning for choice. Appreciated. Competition is always good because ultimately it will drive better products to consumers.
