Both LA teams, ATL, Nola, Vegas, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Detroit, Minn, and Indy all either have domes or retractable roofs. Places that have dome/retractable roof stadiums in the planning stages or who are at least potentially looking to build ones include but aren’t limited to Charlotte, Nashville, DC, and Chicago. I’m sure there is one or two that I’m missing or the plans just haven’t become public. There is only one Super Bowl per year, one Final Four, one Winter Classic, and only so many college bowl games to around. At what point does competing against the other 20 something major cities for these events make it not worth the extra $ for a dome/retractable roof?

Seems like they just built a new Mile High Stadium. Guess I'm getting old. In snow country, that roof will also need to be able to shed the snow pack that will build up. Wasn't there a problem in Minnesota with a snow roof caving in? There must be a way to melt the buildup into some dranage system to remove it from the grounds. Moving Mile High to another location is nutts. That is apart of the Denver legecy. Noone wants it moved. You know teams like KC are kicking ass. So its not the stadium. They still play in good ole Arrowhead and they like it that way. Mile High is fine right where it is. What is pissing me off though, is seeing advertising on the players jerseys. I'm going on record stating adds on jerseys, suck! American Football does not have that crap. I've watched NFL football for 60 years. Always been a Bronco fan. The players are not sports car drivers. These teams are not European sport teams and don't want to be. The NFL is pimping its self out for advertising and is destorying the Football Jersey images for everyone. I hope we stop this now before it gets out of hand. Next thing you know, the'll be called the Denver, Walmart Broncos.
