Starting my Sunday run with a Time to Run update on Brooks! After the Levitate metaphorically broke my ankles back in 2020, someone has to fill me. Thanks, brother

I just got the adrenaline GTS 23 and I’m not sure about the 12mm drop my calf muscles were burning after a 5 mile fartlek run it’s my second pair of brooks adrenaline GTS I had the 21 2 years ago and I’ve been dealing with pain in my ankle lately and have been doing some Physical Therapy exercises before all my runs to help And my daily trainers before this were Hoka Mach 5 and I have 3 other running shoes in my rotation all different drops but adrenaline are my highest drop

Yes, it can certainly take some getting used to. No wrong shoes unless it doesn’t work for you but yes the drop on this is one of the more significant in the industry.

Are they good for walking? All day wear ?

Hoping they are about the same because I have the 22s and they are great I’m constantly on my feet at work about 11 miles a day and they’ve held up better than Clifton 8s I had that just went flat.

I would say if you can endure the stack height I’d personally rather go with the Ghost Max. The Adrenaline is a decent walking shoe but I reach more frequently for the Ghost Max for walking between the two. Hope that helps!
