Thanks very much - and also for the English subtitles. I have just bought what looks like most of one of these from UK ebay - seeing your video confirms for me what it is, and how I might go about making the missing pieces. Grazie mille!

Thanks for sharing, I too have a Stent built from castings but mine is missing the work head i.e. the cutter holder. I would love to see yours in more detail and to know if yours is a copy of a design or your own work as it looks to be exactly what I need to build. Graze Mille.

@@tonyray91 My head is exactly the one from original drawing ( with all the pros and cons :) ). I will try to make a video of her.

@@Pigi_102 Well, I have taken it apart - more than one person seems to have been involved, some of the work is better than others! :-) The two pairs of parallel (!) holes in the sliding block seem to have been drilled, not reamed, and there is a little 'rattle' in it in both x and y. I wonder if I will 'cheat' with some small brass screws to act on the rods and work like gib screws on a lathe - but no gib strip. Or I could try again, but my effort may be even worse! I intend to modify it to take a Chinese ER25 collet holder on a 20mm (built up to 1") plain shank, as this will save me making collets and will mean I can hold things a little bigger (@Tony Ray - this may be an idea you can use). This is a bit of a pity, as the collet holder on this one is one of the nicely made bits. cheers, Mark

Ottima macchina! Qual è la grossolanità del primo cerchio? Quanta grinta?

Ottimo lavoro ma migliorerei la parte finale del filmato relativa alla prova della fresa, il video è un pò sfuocato e non si apprezza a pieno il risultato :-)
