I grew up to listening to The Black Crowes because of my parents. Now I have my son jamming to them. My husband and I have this album and man is it kickass.

These two guys are amazing!!! Seen them at Churchill Downs in the summer of 2010.. out of 65 bands these guys were the best of the best!!

And Rich his solo albums are pretty great too. But where ya been? Chris can play acoustic guitar just fine. Check out "badlands here we come" or "Roan county banjo" on here. ( Chris Robinson's Brotherhood) With the late ,great, Neal Casal RIP.

It's a folk song from a songwriter who isn't American. If I have that wrong, please let me know. "Paint It Black" has Flamenco heavy influences, but it's still The Stones. There are only 12 notes.

John Martin circa 1970 Solid Air album - if you like this tune. Also, if you want to really see/hear a man fill the air with energy guitar, it is JM! He should be way more celebrated. These guys of course good, but no comparison; as I am sure you will instantly agree.

Not bad, but kind of pedestrian and generic. Check out the original by John Martyn to hear how this should ideally sound. It autobographical about Martyn returning to his family in Hastings, England after being on tour.

Not a touch on John Martin who sang and played it by himself and sounded much MUCH better, this wrecks the song. Go listen to the original played live by John Martyn.
