Started playing over 20yrs ago but as soon as I watched your 4 fingers daily practice on the 5th fret (20 times each) and been doing it about 3 months now, I just can NOT believe that my speed went up by 10-15% and now my ring finger is outta this world with it's reach now!!! ❤You forever for what you taught me 🤘God bless you Lauren🙏🌹

Love this song. A standard for me, just played it yesterday. Played a lot of VM back in the day. Wild Nights of Thunder a favorite. My guitar teacher would play lead, a buddy on base, and me on rhythm. I remember the first time we played together. I was thrilled I could not only keep up, but nailed it. Wild Nights of Thunder pushed me forward.

This comment is not directly related to this video but I bought my guitar about 13 years ago and have given up twice on actually learning it because it was too hard for me. I thought it was something I couldn’t do. Then earlier this year I decided to pick it up again and I saw a video of yours I forgot which one it was where you said to learn the G, Em, C and D until I know them down pat. I did just that and it has opened up the possibility for me to play and sing so many songs. I never thought I’d be able to do this. Now I’m ready to learn pat other chords. Thank you, Lauren I have seen countless videos on KZitem of soooo many guitar teachers but yours is the one that had a truly lasting effect on me. You’re the best, keep making videos. You’re helping people even if you don’t know it.

Lauren, I started using your "easy version" chord positions and it saved my guitar playing. I'm a senior and my fingers took forever to form standard D chord. Your easy version saved the day! I almost considered going back to the piano, but no more. Thanks again.

I really liked the Brown Eyed GIrl lesson so thank you! One minor technical issue... and this may be my fault, but you had said the "intro to the song" video would pop up and so I went to click on it, but by that time (as always happens) KZitem carries on with other songs that its algorithm ranks higher. So I have to go in and find the video manually in order to watch it.... which is laborious. Sorry for being lazy! But there were a fix here that would be an improvement.

Thanks, Lauren. I'm a bassist, but I'm totally a wreck when it comes to playing acoustic guitar because my strumming technique sucks. Using a pick also makes me feel disconnected with the guitar. I want to get better. What should I be doing before I burn in bad habits with the acoustic?
