I love it. This is exactly how I want my grown out balayage turned to. I wish I cld do it myself cus the lady I went to is too expensive for me right now. And her prices went up even higher

It takes a lot of work! Hopefully you can find a way to make it work, doing this at home can seriously fry your hair!!

Question, when your balayage grown out, did it look ok almost like your hair is supposed to look like this or was it more like eww she needs to go to the hairdresser? Because I want to try it but it’s expensive, and I want to pay for it myself to not bother my parents, but it’s not realistic for me to pay for it twice a year

My hairdresser did something just like this a couple years ago I had a little mishap with sun in and my hair is brown so it turned very orange not blonde and after that I got it toned a couple times and it finally started looking natural, but I did really want blonde hair, but my mom didn’t want me doing dye that I have to go in every 2 to 6 weeksshe did something like this and now I only have to go every six months to get highlight touchup and it’s so amazing. Took about three hours and my hairdresser is awesome and she didn’t charge us that much.

Why is balayage only shown on wavy and not pin straight hair?
@esme9644
Жыл бұрын
This is not the technique of balayage. Balayage is sweeping of random sections of hair to duplicate natural lightening of the hair from the sun. I'm a Cosmetologist with over 35 years of experience and this technique shown is what we were taught in 1985.

Near roots highlights are very sloppy, you can see lines. So, when root toner will wash away in about two-weeks, it will be ugly.

My natural hair is dark like 3 and i really want some natural blonde-light brown hair just like you did but what happens when it grows? My hair is damaged so i can’t get balayage every 3 months on already bleached hair:/ but i don’t like ombre look at all. What’s the best solution

It's a balayage technique, because they were still painting onto the hair and blending it up, avoiding the back combing. I do this service, but I call it foilayage. A balayage, but with more brightness!
