Yeah sure Tony, before the game we’ll tailgate downtown and then travel to Brookpark for the game and after we’ll go back downtown? Downtown will survive? Have you been downtown since the pandemic? It’s like a ghost town except when there’s an event. You don’t think 30 more big concerts would help revitalize our city? Brookpark with hotels is a destination? Nope. I’m a clevelander and I want our downtown to equal other cities like Pittsburgh. #grossi #browns

Distances per Google maps: Cleveland to Richfield - 20.7 miles; Cleveland to Brookpark - 13.5 miles. We all saw what happened to the Coliseum. Just sayin'. Now if Haslam funds the stadium fully, I guess we can't complain, but a little "fly-in-my-ear" says watch for him propose providing the land with taxpayers paying for the stadium! I don't believe taxpayers should fund another stadium and I'm a life-long Browns fan. On a sentimental note...I love the stadium being on the lakefront and seeing the TV cameras panning Lake Erie with boats.

Okay about what you wrote. Richfield, out in a National Park area. Nick Mileti believe the area which he build the Coliseum would grew into a massive metropolis. His vision would have hotels, restaurants and shopping malls around his building. Out in the country. Out in federal park. Brook Park. A suburb of Cleveland. An urban area. Near the airport. An empty lot of former auto plants. Good area.

AVP didn't "develop" DeShaun Watson well enough??? Are you kiddin' me? The Browns mortgaged their future for a supposed plug-n-play "elite" QB and he needs developing??????????????????????????? He only played 6 games in 2022 due to suspension (his fault) and 6, this year due to injury and throughout both years there's only been a 2 or 3 games where he played up to par for his pedigree! AVP was the stereotypical "fall-guy" for Watson's pedestrian performance to date. There...I said it!

Awful show, awful decision. Richfield is 20 miles from Cleveland, Brook Park is 13 miles from Cleveland. The Browns stadium is the only stadium in NFL history to NEVER host a playoff game. Who cares about a Super Bowl in Cleveland? There aren't enough hotels. People don't mind walking to stadium, partying in muni-lot, taking boat rides to stadium, going to warehouse district after game. Where are people going to go in Crook Park? The strip club? The airport to take a flight out of town? This sounds like the dumbest decision in NFL history...oh no, wait...that wasn't as bad as when the Browns traded for Watson and got rid of their franchise QB who went on to playoffs and pro bowl mvp. Future looks great here - Watson standing on sidelines in a dome in crook park.

I'm all for a retractable dome and particular. And I would not mind if they move the Browns out to Brook Park. We need a stadium that can attract business, events, entertainment, super bowls or basketball regional finals in the NCAA tournament With a dome, and that cold weather stuff has not worked for the Browns since the days of Jim Brown. We have to grow, it's not only about football but about finance and economics. It would be different if we were winning conference championships at home to get to and win the super bowls at the location , the open stadium and the area we at now Besides who wants to catch pneumonia watching a football game if you don't have to. Out in -10° weather for 3 or 4 hours? Then worry about it for blizzard hit you on the way home from the fridge game.

Yes, I am 60. Yes I have followed the Browns since I was old enough to shit my diaper. Absolutely NOT I would not the stadium to be moved from the Lakefront and absolutely no dome or yuppy nonsense. Cleveland has always been a football town and the real fans and crazy weather are part of the equation. Football is made to be played outside in rain, snow, hot, cold, gorgeous, wet whatever….i won’t stop following the team, but the only stadium I have attended a Browns game was Cleveland Municipal Stadium- season tickets 2 years. It’s my opinion.
@joelwisecup3306

Completely agree. Cleveland football is synonymous with grass fields, cold weather and hearty blue-collar fans just like in Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Green Bay and Chicago. I absolutely hate the idea of the Browns playing in a domed stadium for home games. Unfortunately, however, money rules everything and it's all but inevitable that a domed stadium is in the Browns' future. It will bring in millions upon millions in revenue with the ability to host national events year-round where the current stadium hosts roughly a dozen or so events annually and then sits empty the rest of the time. I'll miss the cold weather and snow games for sure so enjoy them for the next few years because they'll be gone forever after that

@@mississippisdarkknight we all have our opinions about this….and many will not agree with me. However, when we start talking absolutes like attracting players, we may want to think about it for a minute….Myles, Nick, Deshaun, Beckham, Hopkins, and we could go on. Sure, some NFL players may not want to play in the cold….But Kansas City is cold. New England is cold, Buffalo as mentioned. My guess is that most players that we want in Cleveland don’t give a hoot about the weather if the team is a contender.

They build that stadium with a dome or retractable dome preferably. Cleveland will get a lot more business I almost guarantee it. And they will build more hotels. Because that domed enclosure or retractable dome will or should be utilized for a whole lot more action. Like Grocci said 9 months or 10 months out of the year the stadium's not being used as much as expensive big thing like a stadium should be used. Because of the cold weather. Nobody wants to go out to a rock and roll concert in January at The Browns current stadium lol. Not 60,000 people. Cleveland needs to grow and grow and grow and be a better city. And get more business attracted to this great location. We have a whole big lake there. We're close to the east coast and not that far as New York Philadelphia Boston from the West Coast and Pacific Ocean. And to get down south is basically an hour and a half flight. From Cleveland. That whole area could be a gold mine
