There are also styles that are all about aggression and full-contact, this means no gloves. Such example is Kyokushin. In the end, it's all up to the practitioner to actually let the martial art shine. Heck you can take a master of Wing Chin who has no real formal fighting experience. By that I mean literal fighting, as in MMA style of matches, and have him face-off against a practitioner who isn't at the highest rank but for example has tons of years of experience in street-fighting. The Wing-Chin master is gonna get flattened. An art is an art. That's all there is to it. In the end, experience dictates the outcome and how well you can fight. Understand? 🙄

Mixture of Chinese boxing and traditional UK boxing with a few block and parrys thrown in , these wing chun masters don't shadow box there kicking and punching a wooden dummy to harden joints for maximum impact, now put a kick boxer against a wing chun master or even tai boxer and there deffo gonna destroy Mr Wing chun, if karate was so great then why did Bruce Lee design JKD to eliminate fixed movements so the fighter can be free to instantly react to almost any punch or kick, so I don't care what stance your in a true wing chun masters speed would be enough on its own

Bruce Lee's One-Inch Punch (and Six-Inch Punch) Along with his famous one-inch punch, one of Lee's most adored skills was the two-finger push-up, which he first showcased in 1964. It's reported that Lee could rep out 200 two-finger press-ups and, unbelievably, 1500 press-ups without breaking. Bruce Lee could kick 6 times in one second and his signature move “Skip Sidekick” could spring a 200 pounds guy with safeguard armour into the sky. Once, a 200 pounds guy flew 20 meters away after Bruce Lee kicked him. 6. Bruce Lee plays ping pong with nunchucks "Be water, my friend" ~ Famous Bruce Lee Quote. Meaning : - Water takes the shape of anything it enters. - Whatever situation life puts you in, embrace it. - Don't remain stiff : Be brave, learn, adapt, stay at peace. - You are stronger than your greatest fears.

It's simple physics.. Anyone standing with their feet together would go backwards. This is a magic trick of sorts, the chair is placed behind them to make it look more dramatic. I have great respect for Bruce and have studied both Wing Chun and JKD but with practice most martial artists could achieve a similar effect. What made Bruce special was his pound for pound strength, his flexibility and his incredible speed. He was also a talented and enthusiastic teacher and broke away from the limitations of traditional styles. This was the real Bruce, he was exceptionally gifted but he had the discipline to work hard too.

@runbear watch how he turns his head (clearer in the board footage) and watch his right shoulder. His body moves but his fist only about 3 inches. It's very clever. More of a push than a punch.
@cristobalmontano8547
5 жыл бұрын
physics didn't work for Joe Lewis though; and the guy is in the same position and Joe Lewis punched the guy from one meter away. The guy is able to react and moves one of his legs to keep his balance but with Bruce Lee he was unable to do that because Bruce Lee's punch is a lot faster than joe Lewis's and gives him no chance to move his leg to keep his balance. It was very thoughtful of Bruce Lee to order a chair be put behind them because without that chair joe lewis and that guy he punched would have hurt their tails landing on the floor. What a problem people have with good reasoning. A scientist said that most people don't have good thinking and he is so right. They see Bruce breaking a board with a punch from one inch away, which karate guys break with a punch from one meter away, and still they're saying that is no big deal. No doubt, Bruce is the father of all fighters. With that speed in his legs and punches who can fight him and come out saying, " I beat him"

@@cristobalmontano8547 That's ridiculous. Bruce's fist wasn't faster, it only had a fraction of the distance to travel compared to the other dude ''who by the way is not Joe Lewis''. The 1 inch punch as demonstrated looks like a force transfer more akin to a push. As his body pushes from a braced stance with a foot back and rippling up. The punch contacts during it's acceleration and follows through to extension. It's a different type of punch and muscle chaining to how regular punches are usually thrown. Speed and muscular fitness and practice lets you use "explosive" force, and he was near pinnacle of focusing on that.

Ben Izadi i study law my friend. Are there judges - atheists by their own tongue in your law courts that punish people by trusting a witness testimony? Yes! Justice is got through testimonies. Christianity is founded on witness testimonies. 500 people that saw Jesus alive after the crucifixion - the resurrection. Let me contrast with Bruce Lee. You have to trust witness testimonies that he kicked a 300lb bag. Please note a testimony does not describe how what they witnessed was achieved merely observation. People though bruce used sorcery. Actually Jesus can be contrasted here again. Jesus is a Jew. His fellow Jews believed he used sorcery to heal people. Note they do not deny that jesus acted in some way. You have to trust the witness testimonies of Bruce Lee that he was a good fighter. You have interviews with those Bruce knew. The new testament is full of letters. I wonder how many letters of Bruce Lee followers exist testifying to what they saw? Christianity is the ultimate truth. It adds the final philosophical step of martial arts or rather self defence. To punch is an opinion not a truth that must be observed. For self defence is as violent as the thugs that pick a fight. Total courage comes without using weapons e.g. your hands or feet. Self defence was created out of a lack of characters in chinese history to be pure good. In fact no culture except the Jewish faith through Jesus Christ can deliver hope for man. A martial artist has to live in fear that they are required to defend themselves. Paul is testimony that you have hope. Paul was saul of Tarsus. He was violent when he was called Saul. But Paul was beaten and went to prison as a servant of Christ.

Actually, a hitman who only uses martial arts would be pretty terrifying if said hitman is smart enough. No weapons means they can pass security checks pretty easily, so unless it comes down to a gunfight, they can get away.
