The track pads are made using aluminum trim from a hardware store. If you put them on what looks to be the correct way they fill up with dirt and don't perform well.

how have I missed this so far?! Very cool! I like the style of this older Bruder dozer and I REALLY like what you did with them! *thumbs up* I see you don't use the tag-link (panhard-style link), does it work well without?
@RCP57
8 жыл бұрын
+YensR Thanks. They work OK for small machines. The one I kept has the carry blade and it doesn't work as well. I kinda copied the Bruder blade but made it wider but the cutting edge is too flat. The second type blade works much better. If you look around 2:15 you can see the bar you are asking about(I think).

+RCP57 Thank you very much for the added info and yes, 2:15 shows it and now that you say it, I also see it at 4:16 *duh*

+Crazzybear1408 I think the third one is sold but it won't go out until next year because I am working on other stuff for the same person first. I don't think I will build any more once the last one is gone as the material cost is too high.

How much just a full set of parts So I can have the fun of building it my self as I have the same dozer sitting on my shelf Cheers Bob

I still have to finish the one with the raw blade. Everything is made except for the sprockets. Once it's done it will go up for sale but I have no plans to make more of these or parts for them in the future. Thanks
