If you don't mind me asking, how do you prefer to air fry them? 👀
@balogh89
@ViCT0RiA6 I usually lightly spray them with a little bit of oil, toss them to cover, then put them to the oven: 180°C for 15 minutes, move them around, increase the heat for 200°C, and leave them for at least another 5 minutes. This will make them lightly browned and cooked through usually. If I'm in a mood for something more charred, then I'm leaving them in for another 3-5 minutes. (Oh forgot to mention that I'm usually cooking frozen Brussels.. and it's not rare that in the same time I put my sweet potatoes to the AF too.)

I’ve never encountered a vegetable that tastes so different when prepared correctly vs overcooked. Al dente Brussels sprouts taste a bit peppery and mustardy, and are pretty good even if just steamed. Overcooked they taste like literal hot garbage. I’d only ever had them prepared well; the first time I tasted an overcooked one I immediately knew why people hated them.

@@emiliamartucci8291 I actually use organic extra virgin olive oil from Costco. I coat the Brussels sprouts with it using my hands and I drizzle balsamic glaze from Trader Joe’s. No maple syrup. I use parchment paper on my glass baking dish. Easy clean up😁 The cut side will always be crispier or a little burnt. I like it a little burnt 😆. Try it again maybe with fewer Brussels and lower temperature until you get it how you like it. Don’t give up!😉

@@emiliamartucci8291 let us know how it turns out for you!😁. I also do kale chips 400 degrees for 8-10mins. I usually do 10 they will be crispy but a little burnt. That’s how I like it. Use parchment paper. I wash and dry the kale thoroughly with paper towels. Then cut middle stem out. Then cut kale into pieces but not too small. Lightly coat with extra virgin olive oil with hands. Lightly or they will not crisp if wet or too much oil. Don’t over lap too much and bake. I don’t add anything else. I eat with hummus and avocado and toast me some pita bread as a snack or meal.
