I remember buying the album the day it came out. That evening, at a friend's house while playing this track, said friend's mum said 'There'll never be another Bing Crosby" so I replied "No, and there'll never be another Bryan Ferry either!" 😂😂😂

Not easy to make a good cover that withstands time about this great classic of Lady Day. However, think Brian Ferry did a remarkable one. Same as with "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes", Ferry proves here to be a renewer of jazz great standards. Original and good way to approach it.

Director: Bryan, I gotta tell you something. I'm afraid we've spent all the money we had on that party last night... I don't think we'll be able to shoot your video. Bryan Ferry: Remember that girl who played the piano? Director: The one I almost picked up? Bryan Ferry: Let me call her. I've got an idea.
@SteveB21

I wish! I only met Bryan Ferry on the day when he turned up hours late so, never mind money, we had practically no time. And the "girl", to the best of my recollection was a transvestite who couldn't play the piano (which is why you never see "her" hands!).
