If my calculations are correct, Bryan would have been 68 here. He still looks fab and sounds incredible. This song was re-released in 1975 in the UK and I was 16 then. I loved the song then and love it still. Brings back some wonderful memories.

@@MrHughes1950 Was 1962 in UK too I've just discovered. I don't remember it from then, I'd have been 3! I had no idea it was a re-release in 1975. One of those songs that never grow old and I never tire of.

Met Brian Hyland in 1990 while doing a Canadian Tour, He autographed one of my albums of his, was very polite and had a five minute chat backstage Apparently, he told us he and Del Shannon were friends.Del died just before the'' HYLAND'' tour.

Though we've got to say goodbye for the summer Darling, I promise you this I'll send you all my love Every day in a letter Sealed with a Kiss" is a song written and composed by Peter Udell and Gary Geld. It first became a hit in 1962 for Brian Hyland. The original recording of "Sealed with a Kiss" was by the Four Voices which was released as a single in May 1960 without becoming a hit 🎸🥁🎶❤️

Watch other videos, he can and does play the harp part very well, but performing it live, he has to cut off the last few notes to take a breath for the last verse. In this video those last few notes were played on a keyboard. PS. jojo, save us the smug "know-it-all attitude" and the lame gross BS, your lack of class is showing.

1:45 Legendary song and singer but notice how the harmonica 'never leaves his lips'.... and who is cheering in the audience when the camera pans? Is this one of PBS' week long pledge drives? I love this song but it looks about as fake as Janet Jackson on MTV etc...
