I enjoyed this episode a lot. This was very informative from the story about Destiny's Child to the segment regarding producers from different regions. I feel like this type of information is what was missing from the culture. An outlet that delivers advice from people who have gained success in the music industry providing insight into how they did it. I learned a lot. Thank you.

I despised Jagged Edge and Jermaine Dupri for a little bit. The reason is because me and my wife got married in June of 2000. We walked out to Let’s Get Married. Then two months later they dropped the damn remix to it. That remix would’ve set our reception off so damn big!!!! 😡😡😂😂

A and R's use statistics based tracks rather actual music. It's cheap but takes the flavor of the song and composition of the finished product which is to move units but you sometimes lack the musicianship to just get product sold.

And gtfoh with that sample point you're trying to make. Most samples aint come from Atlanta so I don't know why you said that, Sampling was something later added to Hip Hop, and all types of records from different types of music was sampled in Hip Hop.
