I needed this. I lost my Dad 2 weeks ago. Him and I rebuilt his rigid shovel back when I was about 19. Then he sold it to me for a dollar. I haven’t ridden that bike in about 20 years. Now I need to put it back together. Thanks for the video.

Listened to the full 5 hours and man was this a good one. I think you're right any person on any bike can really develop that sense of community and adventure but there is definitely something so special about choppers. My game plan is to build one as soon as the funds are available. If you ever want to interview someone who lost a leg riding but is still in love with it then I'm always down and I'm in socal. I'd love to go for a cruise with you some time. Currently all I've got is a KLR650 but I'm one of those 26 year old kids you were talking about that's obsessed with chopper culture, I just need to find more friends out here to help guide me, until then I'll be saving every penny I can and cruising on my adventure bike haha
