You don’t need to have a favourite….I’m OT7 myself…which means I like all of them for their individual talents….💜 I’m from North America myself and some of the reasons I love them is that they remain genuine, humble, and ARE talented…unlike other artists who flaunt their fame and success…I can’t think of one mainstream artist who takes the time to go online one-on-one to interact with their fans the way BTS still continues to do on Weverse.

For me, what sets apart BTS from any other kpop group is how genuine they are in their music. I respect artists who make their own music because then we can listen to it and learn about them and the story they're trying to tell. Unfortunately, that is comparatively rare in kpop. BTS stands out in that regard, their lyricism is sometimes genius in my opinion ☺

They all know some English and some of them are taking lessons, but RM is the only member who is fluent and he learned English by watching the sitcom Friends. I think they understand basic English pretty well, but I think they feel a lot more comfortable speaking Korean still. How do they have time for school, all the members except for Jin went to an online university for their bachelors degree and their master's program is also done online so I think that definitely helps with their busy schedule. Don't feel pressured to pick a favorite member. Plenty of ARMY consider them OT7 where they don't really have a favorite member.

The Run BTS episodes are funny. You can start wherever you like. My faves are the water park episodes, and several of the latest, including flying yoga. You may want to start at the beginning. There are over 150 episodes, all good. I'm sure people would love to see them. Thank you for giving BTS a chance. You will NEVER regret it!

As of March 2023, they already got over a thousand awards with 28 Guinness World Record. The only artists who got 3 number one albums in less than a year since The Beatles. To answer your question: Did you know, Jimin got almost kicked out of BTS 8 times before their debut because he was the last member to join BTS and also had the shortest training period. They started as hip hop group and he had no proper training for his vocals. There were also some people in Big Hit who didn't think he would do well in BTS. But despite being a talented dance major who placed first in his entrance exam in Busan Arts High School, he surprised everyone by divulging that it was his dancing skills that nearly cost him his chance to debut. In one of the interviews, he said that “I was in danger of not debuting because I didn’t dance well enough,” He explained, “My major was modern dance. Because idol choreography is so different from what I was used to, I found it difficult.” Jimin also said that he used to stay a lot in the practice room so he could practice more. He even sleep there so when he gets up, he could still practice again. He used to be very critical of himself and even with the slightest mistakes, he feels so guilty and would think about it a lot. He was also insecure of how he looked before to that he went on a crazy diet that he would sometimes collapse during their practice or filming their MV. The members support, encouraged him a lot so that he would believe in his capabilities. The fan chant sounds like a roll call like you said, but do you know that ARMYs say the fan chant in different ways according to the rhythm, beat and lyrics of BTS songs? ARMYs have some parts in some BTS songs where they get to chant the lyrics while BTS is performing. BTS usually involves the fans in their live performances. Borahae! 💜💜💜💜💜

Since this video was last updated in May 2022, here are some updates on the members of BTS since this video was released Jin- Jin released his debut solo single album called The Astronaut in October which he worked on with the band Coldplay. Shortly after he performed the song for the first time at Coldplay's tour stop in Argentina. He also appeared on numerous shows to promote the song. He also became the spokesperson for the ramen brand Jin Ramen in November. Jin also hosted a new variety show with famous Korean chef Baek Jong-won. The series is centered on two things: making alcohol and eating food, with special guests and random activities sprinkled in to keep it spicy. Jin’s Traditional Alcohol Journey premiered November 12 on BTS’s KZitem channel. On December 13, 2022 Jin became the first member of BTS to enlist as an active duty soldier to complete his 18 months of mandatory military service and is expected to be discharged in June of 2024. Suga/Agust D- Suga has been taking numerous lessons and became the global brand ambassador for Valentino. He's also hosting a talk show where he provides the food and atmosphere while the guest provides the alcohol. Suchwita airs on their KZitem channel, BangtanTV. Suga also worked on and featured in the song That That by PSY (the man who sang Gangnam Style). And Suga is set to become the first member of BTS to embark on a solo tour starting in April which sold out immediately in the ARMY presale for the US leg of the tour. It's also be speculated he is working on new music, but he's been very quiet about it. J-Hope-J-Hope released his first solo album Jack In the Box last July with 2 music videos for MORE and Arson and became the first Korean artist to headline a major US festival- Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois. He had a feature on the song Rush Hour by Crush and has been to numerous fashion shows. He performed on the MAMA awards and New Years Rockin Eve in New York City. J-Hope also released his documentary called J-Hope In the Box on Disney Plus that shows the making of his album and his performance at Lollapalooza. He also released a new song called "On the Street" with his idol J. Cole on March 3rd and became the global brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton. It was also recently announced that J-Hope has begun the process for military enlistment and will be the 2nd member of BTS to enlist in the military. RM- RM released his debut solo album called Indigo back in December with featured artists such as Anderson .Paak and Erykah Badu and many others along with 2 music videos Wild Flower ft. Youjeen and Still Life featuring Anderson .Paak He also featured on the song Sexy Nukim by Balming Tiger. It's also being speculated RM will be on Pharrell's next album. He performed on NPR's tiny desk concert and Rolling Hall in South Korea for 200 fans. He also hosted the Korean variety show The Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge where the show’s expert panelists discuss literature, physics, forensics, and astronomy. He also has been visiting numerous art museums and is currently working on new music too. He also helped work on fellow BTS member Jimin's debut solo album which is being released on March 24th. RM is also featuring on So!YoON! new song called Smoke Sprite which will be released on March 14th. Jimin- Jimin has been busy working on his debut solo album called Face which will be released on March 24th along with 2 new music videos called Set Me Free Pt. 2 (out March 17th) and the title track Like Crazy (out March 24th) and his album will have a Korean and English version of the song. He's been doing tiktok's covering numerous BTS dances. He was also named the global brand ambassador for Dior and attended their fashion show in Paris, France. Earlier this year he got to work with and feature on the Vibe by Taeyang (a member of the legendary kpop group BigBang). Working with Taeyang is a dream come true for Jimin since he's been a fan of Taeyang's since he was young. Jimin was also named the global brand ambassador for Tiffany and co. V- V has a starring role in a new variety series. Jinny’s Kitchen takes Taehyung and his famous friends to Mexico, where they open up a Korean eatery run by popular actor Lee Seo-jin. It premiered February 24th on Amazon Prime. V also landed on the cover of Vogue Korea in September and is currently working on his solo music. Over the summer, he featured in Disney +’s In the Soop: Friendcation, a variety show that follows a four-day friendcation to a seaside town. V was also named as the new international brand ambassador for 'SimInvest,' an online trading and investment platform. And he will appear on Elle Korea's cover in April 2023. Jungkook- Jungkook featured on Charlie Puth's song Left and Right last year and has also been working on solo music. He sang the song Dreamers for the FIFA World Cup soundtrack and performed in Qatar for the World Cup's Opening Ceremony. And while we didn't see Jungkook a lot after his performance he has recently come back to do his famous record-breaking livestream sessions where he sings numerous songs from not just BTS but other artists as well. BTS announced last June at their annual Festa celebrating their 9th anniversary that they would be taking a break from group activities to focus on their solo endeavors. But BTS decided to continue their variety show Run BTS. In June 2022 BTS released their anthology album called Proof with the title track Yet To Come and performed on Korean music shows for the first time in over 2 years. Proof debuted at number 1 on the billboard 200 chart, their 6th album to do so. In October 2022 BTS performed their last concert as BTS until 2025 in Busan, South Korea in a bid for Busan to host the World Expo in 2030. The Busan concert was also shown in movie theaters worldwide in early February 2023 for a limited time. It was then announced after the concert that BTS would fulfill their mandatory military service after their solo schedules were completed and the group planned to reunite around 2025. BTS earned 3 more Grammy nominations and were named Artist of the Year at the MAMA awards for the 7th year in a row. All the members of BTS now have a friendship tattoo of the number 7 and when all 7's are drawn together it makes the name BTS. BTS also became the first kpop group to have all members chart on the billboard hot 100 as soloists. And according to IFPI BTS anthology album Proof was the 4th best selling album in the world in 2022 and BTS were the 2nd best selling music artists in 2022 only after Taylor Swift, BTS were number 1 for both 2020 and 2021.

Thank you for watching this video right to the end. It WAS a big project. You don't have to have a favourite - Taylor doesn't and nor do I. We are One True Seven - or OT7. V himself said, please love all the members the same because they are all precious. The free concert was part of American Hustle Life, a show set up by a Korean channel. The early episodes are "cringe" but later on they learned a lot. I think it's on Weverse, but there are clips on KZitem. The Vlives are now on Weverse. To be honest, even the idea of "why would I want to listen to BTS?" is a little bit hatey, because it's actually very dismissive of a hugely successful phenomenon, and is based only on ignorance. And that is what people have thrown in the face of BTS and ARMY from the very start - but by no means the worst thing we've faced. I don't mind anyone not knowing, because mainstream media actively tries to block them, but I/we really appreciate anyone who just .... tries. Just listen to the music, give it a chance, explore it, you'll find something you like. And it quite surprising how strong the resistance is, and not at all surprising how it crumbles if people just listen and watch what they can do... So thank you for joining in! Some wee family snippets for you. Both RM and Suga's parents actively discouraged their music. RM's mother destroyed his mic. Suga's mother burned all of his songs at one point. Now they are close and loving - RM's family are neighbours with Jin's and their dads play golf together. J-Hopes parents supported his dancing - his mother took a second job to pay for his dance lessons. He dedicated the song Mama to her in gratitude - that was the "gospel" type song in the lip with the choir. His sister is has a fashion line and is a celebrity in her own right now. Jin had never sung or danced before he went to training at Big Hit - learned it all from scratch then. He continued to practice dance twice as long as the others on his own to try to improve. Jin remains diffident about his musical ability - well he's only had RM and Suga to compare himself against. But their company has faith in him and helped him write the strikingly impressive Abyss - one of the best songs about the experience of depression I've ever heard. He turned 30 on 4 December 2022, shortly before starting his military service. Yes, they all continued their education while training and performing. The university work and degrees are one reason why their schedules are considered "insane". Korea places an incredibly high value on academic education. Jungkook was not 15 when he came to Seoul from Busan (the other end of the country). Korean age is 2 years on from Western. He was 13 and left home to go to the other end of the country to live with 6 strangers. His parents really trusted Bang Si Hyuk. The other members really did bring him up. Jin made his lunches for him and did the school run. The school footage was a Bangtan Bomb I think. He is sensitive and passionate about singing and dancing, but is multi-talented. Very shy about writing music himself, but "Begin" is amazing - he's more able than he gives credit. He has perfect pitch and sings while running to build vocal stability. Golden Closet is because in one of the dorms, JK's bedroom was in a large closet. He asked Jin if he could sleep in his room and turned the bedroom/closet into his film studio. while he slept on Jin's floor. When V went to the audition with his friend, he called his dad for permission to try out first. His dad simply said, do you want to, then go for it. V had always wanted to be a musician, but when he first told his dad, his dad said, in that case you have to learn an instrument, and bought him a saxophone, which he studied for several years. The family were very badly off, with both parents working away from home while his grandmother raised V and his brother. It can't have been easy for them to find the money for a sax, but they did, and it's quite remarkable that they supported him so generously. Tae and his dad are very similar and very close indeed. Tae is notoriously straight-faced, but doesn't take himself seriously at all. It's slightly disconcerting. People think he's weird, and sometimes call him an alien. JImin joined as a skilled dancer, but had never sung. Big Hit couldn't afford voice lessons for him so he went to Jin and JK's lessons, watched, and tried to copy in the dorms at night with their help. H also had the shortest training period of all at just over 6 months. He remained very insecure about his singing for a few years but staff and training all worked to reassure him. He faced all that and grew. Members who at some point either wanted to leave BTS, did leave but came back, or really feared that they were going to be kicked out : RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin. RM actually went home and came back; J-Hope left but was persuaded to come back by RM and JK; Suga had a traffic accident when doing his (not allowed) side delivery job and badly hurt his shoulder, thought he'd be kicked out if the company found out; Jimin never thought his singing was good enough, thought he was too fat and did not fit the Kpop standard, starved himself to loose weight from his cheeks. The fears about the company were unfounded - Bang Si Hyuk's policy has always supported his artist's health, but that's not always true in other Kpop companies and even worse then. Sorry - long comment, I ramble too...

If you liked Lie only from the snippet, you're going to fvcking LOVE it! This song is so great, but also very hard to perform (even just the dance, or just singing is already super hard). It became a standard for many kpop idols: if you can perform any of it well enough, then you have a talent. It's honestly a musical masterpiece 🙌 P.S.: Jimin is releasing an album on March 24th!

BTS release their anthology album titled PROOF on June 10th, 2022, as part of their 9th festa anniversary celebration which they have done every year since debut the first festival was held June 12, 2014. Last one was June 10,11,12,13 2022 also when they announced they were taking an extended hiatus from group activities to concentrate on solo album projects. But they have performed as a group at award shows where they performed their newest songs off their anthology album Yet To Come: the most beautiful moment and their newest song for their army fans titled For Youth on the album the song starts out where a track of the army fan singing their song Young Forever back to them at Wimberley stadium it was in this video. I might be very wrong, but I think it was October 2022 when they had their free Yet To Come On Stage concert in Busan South Korea with 200,000 in att because Jen had to go into the military endance. Their last concert as a group for at least three years they have promised they will return to perform as a group in 2025. After their extended hiatus to release their solo albums and serve mandatory military obligations. one member the oldest member Jīn is already serving in the military he has been in for about 3 months. He should be discharged in June 2024 since they only have to serve a minimum of 18 months. He did not have time to release a solo album, but he did a collaboration song with Coldplay titled the astronaut to say goodbye for now and I love you all to BTS army fans. The free concert that you saw them handing out Flyers for in the video had 200 people in attendance and Los Angeles CA USA they did it while they were filming their reality TV show American Hustle Life in 2014. That year they also performed for the first time at K con and California the next time they performed at K con they headlined and sold out. The two J hope's music videos you watch MORE was released as a pre album release music video and ARSON was released as the single of the album. the album is titled jack-in-the-box his first solo album, he has a solo mixtape from several years ago! RM released his first solo album in December 2022 he has two previous solo mixtapes. J hope recently announced that he will be going into the military soon.

btw, the best all-around documentary series out there is from the channel Rise of Bangtan. Each episode (12 or so?) follows the group from pre-debut to about 2017. It's great because it also includes an introduction to Kpop, and has interviews with Bang PD, and with other Kpop idols. Also it pulls from several different sources to tell a cohesive story. Also, if you're interested in the 'hate' they received, check out BTS Hardships from the channel, xceleste.

the way i zoomed over here when i saw this was uploaded- i'm so glad you enjoyed watching it! i'm very similar to you in the sense that i can hardly watch long things all at once- i'm guilty of using the youtube speed settings all the way up to 2x speed. but i'm happy you were invested and able to watch it! i love this guide but i do have to nitpick a little bit when it comes to suga's section, i feel taylor didn't mention one of suga’s biggest struggles; after he became a trainee for bighit, he got a part time delivery job to make ends meet but ended up damaging his shoulder very badly; he hid it from bighit because he didn't want it to hinder his debut. for 10+ years his shoulder never healed properly and caused him excruciating pain but he didn't let it show on stage once, even with bts' intense choreo. he only recently got a surgery to finally fix that poor shoulder! and about j-hope, yes "arson" and "more" was a surprise for us at first but then i remember something suga said once; back when j-hope was a trainee, suga said he was most depressed person he ever saw, which coming from suga says a lot. it makes me wonder what kind of demons j-hope is hiding- his darker sound makes more sense to me now, especially on his _jack in the box_ album he uses a lot of horrorcore elements which is so cool- on top of the 90's grunge sound, _jack in the box_ could literally be used as a soundtrack for a 90's horror movie. kinda wild with how bright hobi (j-hope's nickname) appears! i was trying to keep track of all the songs you said you wanted to check out, i think i got them all but i'm sure someone else will comment something i missed if i did; "life goes on", rm's "joke," jungkook's "stay alive" prod. by suga, and jimin's "lie." the thing about lie is that it is a apart of bts' _wings_ album, which is a very story-driven album, from start to finish every track has a purpose- of course lie can be consumed and enjoyed outside of the album! if you did a video reacting to just lie i would not complain. but i do think it's enjoyed more in the context of the wings album. just a thought :D edit: rewatching and you also said you wanted to check out v during the clip of him singing “stigma.” stigma is on the wings album too! (all the members got solos on that album.) thank you so much for giving this a chance even though you were hesitant about it! my goal as an army is not to force people to enjoy bts or their songs, all i can really ask is that people respect their journey as it was not easy; it makes me so happy that you do :D as far as a bias goes, i'm sure once you delve more into their ot7 songs someone will stand out- j-hope caught my attention first in 2013 and he's still my ultimate bias, but over the years jungkook creeped up on me unexpectedly. p.s about you checking out their variety content- you know i'll never say no to more bts! all run bts episodes are available on youtube now since vlive shut down, but i think only the newer ones have english subs, they're still working on adding subs to the older episodes. p.s.s i see you noticed the members weren't introduced in age order, they were introduced in the order of who joined bts first. rm was the first to be signed to bighit and actually bts wouldn't exist (at least the way we know it) without him, as soon as bang sihyuk signed rm he knew he wanted to do something with him asap because of how talented he is, so he got the idea of a hiphop boy group with rm at the helm.

That's a setting I often forget about on KZitem lol. But yeah, this one was definitely informative and entertaining. Thank you for suggesting it! Wow, yeah I feel that definitely should have been included in the guide. I've had tendonitis mixed with frozen shoulder before. It was painful to even stand with it supported, so I know shoulder injuries can be excruciating. I can't imagine the pain he would have been dealing with all this time, especially with the choreography they do. I'm glad he was able to finally get it fixed. Do you know if j-hope was able to overcome the depression? I know it can be difficult to tell if someone is depressed, but hopefully he was able to overcome it. But that does give more context to the 'Jack in the Box' album. Speaking of, I listened to that entire album off-camera after listening to 'Arson' and 'More'. 7 of the 10 songs ended up on my playlist. It's definitely a great album. Thank you for keeping track! I was hoping someone would, but I never know if people watch videos all the way through or just kind of skip around (I have no problem with either way someone chooses to watch). I'll be adding all of these to my list to check out. As for the 'Wings' album, if there's a story connecting all the songs, I also feel it'd be better to listen to the entire album. I'll be deciding how I'll approach that one. Absolutely, I'll always respect the work they put in to become what they are today. I'm sure there will be songs along my dive into their music that aren't really for me (like with any artist/group), but I never attack the artists for that. I am curious to see who ends up as my bias, or if they'll be a group I won't be able to choose just one. I saw the title 'Run BTS' a while back and thought it was solely dance practices for some reason lol. It was only recently that I found out that wasn't the case. I'll more than likely be checking out some of those soon, though! And that's definitely interesting in how they all ended up joining, especially contemplating what would have happened if RM never joined. Thinking about it in that way, it definitely seems like one of those instances where it was just meant to be.

@@CericcReacts of course! :D i'm unsure if j-hope is still dealing with depression, the most recent he spoke about his mental health as far as i'm aware is his song "blue side" from 2021, which is a fairly heavy song- granted it was written a long time ago before release so it is possible j-hope has overcame it since then. i'm so glad you checked out jack in the box! not surprised so many tracks ended up on your playlist :D for the wings album, perhaps an album reaction? 👉👈 if you're able of course... my toxic trait though is i want to see your reactions to all of their discography, for example i love that you liked jack in the box but i do have a little bit of fomo because i would've loved to see a reaction to it! but alas i know it's a lot and that you react to other things so i'm down for whatever you feel is best. and yay for run bts! i see some have mentioned some great episodes which i agree with, but i also think the zombie episode (ep. 24 i believe) is a must, they really put the boys through the ringer with that one. for easy viewing all of the episodes are sorted into playlists on the BANGTANTV channel!

I do hope he has overcame it! And an album reaction is definitely something I'm considering for when I get to it. Album reactions are something I've been undecided on (I listened to 'Jack in the Box' back when I didn't think I'd do album reactions), but I've been trying it out to get more used to it. Slowly getting there lol. I'll be adding that one to my list! I love watching anything with zombies, so that one definitely has me intrigued lol. Thanks for letting me know!

Hiii new suscriber here, I have been loving your content of bts, I really like how you are so sincere with your opinions and respectful, they really are very special to a lot of people, we have a say that goes like this "you discovered bts when you need them the most". Everyone has their time so don't worry about it. Yes, the members have so much music and all of them have their own style. I highly recommend Stay Alive by jungkook (it's produced by suga) it's has a promotional video but it's not the full song :( so maybe it's better to just search for the lyrics. And for the variety content I think the best is Run Bts, they always play games and had a lot fun, it has like more than 100 episodes but it's very helpful to know the members and have a good time (for army is like free theraphy lol) the first episodes aren't that long, after a while they became longer (also bc they had more money to expend on the show, since they began in 2015 and at that time they didn't have a lot of money) so glad you enjoy the video and their music, I hope you enjoy the ride with bts and with army, purple you Ceric💜💜

They filmed a reality show in LA called “American Hustle Life” where the met and worked with Hip Hop artists. It was in LA that they were handing out flyers for a free concert.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. In the SOOP is vacation in Korea. Somewhere private. Bon Voyage is a trip to another country. Boy with Luv ft. Halsey was my intro song performance on an award show live in 2019. My ult bias is Jimin, Suga wrecker, OT7. Taylor summed things up very well. She used info from current guides by others and changed a few things. They have i think 800 awards now and growing. RM is the only one fluent in Eng. Though he is rusty these days not enough interaction. JK been studying more. Jimin been studying too and Jhope. Jin is 30yo he will be 31 in Dec. All the younger bands and solo artists use BTS as inspiration to find fans. Especially small label groups. Seventeen has mental health songs too which i find very cool. The awards are in a BTS Museum in Korea. This was not boring. I liked hearing ur thoughts. =0] Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army #ThankYouTaylor Ellie Jeann said on 4/5/23 As of this year, they have won over 900+ awards which includes solely and as a group on top side projects that have done past 10 years that continue break records and make history. 3:46 They became the first Kpop male group to perform and speak twice at the UN Assembly. 5:44 BTS started as undiscovered talent in their hometowns but many tend to get confused when seeing this specific scene which is from their episode 8 finale of mini-series #BTSAmericanHustleLife that was filmed in los Angeles (2014). It was part a mission of learning how to ‘self-promote’ by standing on the sidewalk trying to randomly invite people to their mini concert as well as learned from a few western artists under supervision of coolio and warren g throughout the episodes before they performed at the end of the show where they did “no more dream” and “we are bulletproof pt2” along with an ending encore to show what they’ve learned during the final episode. (THOSE WERENT ALL RANDOM PEOPLE 😂 IT WAS A STAGED SCENE BUT MANY OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS KNEW BTS WAS AND THEY WERE THERE WAITING FOR THE MINI SHOWCASE TO START). @femmy-syahrani said Since this video in May 2022, a LOT has happened. First, in June they released an anthology album "Proof" and then announced that they would pause making music as a group and focus on solo work. This is partly because they have to do their mandatory military service for 18-21 months. J-hope was the first to officially debut as a solo artist, releasing the album "Jack in the Box" in July and headlined in Lollapalooza later that month. The album tells a compelling story from beginning to end, with singles "More and "Arson". They held a free concert in Busan in October, livestreamed also for free all over the world. Jin released a single "The Astronaut" in October, co-written by Coldplay and performed the song at a Coldplay stadium concert in Argentina. The two bands are very close friends. He joined the military shortly after. RM released his album "Indigo" in December. A masterful journey through the genres, with singles "Wildflower" and "Still Life" ft. Anderson Paak. Jimin released "Face" in March, telling about his emotional journey during the pandemic., with singles "Set Me Free Pt. 2" and "Like Crazy". J-hope released the single "On the Street" ft. J. Cole, and joined the military shortly after. Then Suga/Agust D released "D-Day" in April, an exploration on the theme of liberation, and then embarked on his world tour. We are anticipating albums from V and JK later this year, and likely from Jin after his service. Please note that before these official debuts, all members have released solo work, with all rappers releasing mixtapes and all singers releasing singles. But these past works were not officially released, meaning they were not available on Korean music platforms and not all were available on Spotify or iTunes. Most were gifts for fans, released on Soundcloud and with little to no promotion. They plan to reconvene as a group in 2025 after they all completed their military service. jungkooks dreamers. @itsbonniefay2417 said on 11/13/23 BTS started from the bottom and they've come all this way, ARMY walking up this mountain together with them... it's so inspiring to see that genuine hardwork and a love and passion for your craft can succeed and have such a spectacular impact on the world. I think of their story and how these 7 kids from all different places in South Korean came together and just worked and worked with no rewards, releasing their first album after years of training and selling 34 copies on it's first day. 2 days less of 8 years later they would release their anthology album Proof and sell 2.15 million copies on the first day... I feel so much pride to see how far they've come. I can't wait to see their synergy and bond in 2025, I'm sure it'll be stronger than ever. @imajinallthepurple said on 11/13/23 6:20 Hundreds of groups debut in K-pop every year but extremely few make it more than 100 days and those are usually from the Big 3 K-pop companies. Boracity Magazine has made a great video on the music industry's (eastern and westerns') attempts to find "the next BTS" which covers a lot of the points you bring up. She also has some a amazing videos on BTS vs different entities in the music industry, like BTS vs Radio and BTS vs Spotify etc. They give you a great insight into the dynamics of the industry as a whole. Taylor really did an amazing job on this intro. She even posted a draft, took on input from us and changed a lot accordingly however she mainly focused on the positive story of BTS but there's a darker side to their success as well. xCeleste's video BTS Hardships 2013-2021 shows a very important part of their story and it goes a long way to explaining their uniquely close relationship with ARMY. I highly recommend it. ARMY is actually an acronym for Adorable Representatives MC for Youth - doesn't sound quite as daunting now, does it? 😂 We really are all ages from 1 to 99, genders, faiths, nationalities, etc. We always try to portray the positive values of the group members themselves - love, respect and inclusivity - and although inevitably there are a few rotten apples in a fandom this big (approximately 15 million official fan club members and many millions more unofficial fans), if you receive any hateful comments they're most likely from antis/haters who try to discredit the fandom and BTS to deter reactions to their content. I'm just letting you know because unfortunately it's a common problem for BTS reactors and for us as well. A few helpful tips: - You might want to turn the volume up on the video you're reacting to. 😉 - If you want subtitles on their older songs you need to get them from the KZitem channel 1theK. It's just as safe and legit to react to. It wasn't until later they started their current channels and they didn't bother putting subtitles on the oldest stuff. - Since Taylor's video Vlive has been incorporated into Weverse, a platform developed by Big Hit but used by many artists and companies now. Fan club membership is not a requirement and that's where they go live now, post comments and respond directly to ARMY's posts if you're extremely lucky. 😅 Have fun discovering the magic of BTS, feel free to ask us anything and enjoy the journey however short or long it may be. 😄 - a danish ARMY, age 48 💜

No need to worry. ARMYs love to watch reactors/content creators watch the Run BTS episodes along with all of the extra content. If you do that for us on KZitem we will be there to watch. Something that might give you even more appreciation for exactly what they faced early on and still do to some degree today The video BTS Hardships by ex Celeste Will give you an entirely different perspective on just how amazing it is that they are where they are and didn't quit.

You asked how old Jimin was in the modern dance clip. Jimin was probably 15 or so. He started at Busan performing arts high school as top student in dance as a Freshman. (He's a legend there now.). I believe he was 16 when he debuted with BTS.

Im new to your channel and i love your genuine reactions. Thank you for giving them a chance and reacting to them with and open mind. They have a youtube channel called Bangtantv where there is behind the scenes to there music videos, dance practice, Run BTS episodes and a lot more behind the scenes. They all have amazing personalitys and there live performances is out of this would with lots of emotions, incredible dance moves, amazing vocals and rap and 7 genuine guys giving all they got. They have more them 300 songs and i think that there is a lot that you would like. I would love to watch you react to their live performances of the songs that you have already reacted to and also their other song that doesn't have a music video. I recommend you watching Tiny desk concert, Festa Room Live and Armypedia and its live song where they sit down and sing multiple songs. And if you want to watch incredible stage performances all their performances at MAMA and MMA awards are incredible and also their gammy performance from 2022. Their content from their own channels Bangtantv and HYBE Labels normally doesn't get blocked. "Try it, you might like it." ~ My mom's favorite saying. Granted, she was talking about food. LOL However, I think it applies to music as well. I know WAY too many people who are SO stuck on one genre they won't give any others a chance. I grew up on everything from Frank Sinatra and Chubby Checker to Guns 'N Roses and Madonna. What can I say? There was a HUGE generation gap on my dad's side of the family. With 8 siblings total, there was a 20 year difference between oldest and youngest so....yeah...big age difference there. Then one of his siblings - the eldest - did the same, 20 years difference between first and last...with 9 kids. Anyway, about the only music I don't like is gospel...but even then, there are a couple songs here and there in that genre I like...it's just...not my "favorite" genre. Probably a bad idea, listening to so much, only because I now have over 150,000 songs on my computer that spans every genre and *almost* every language. I can't get new computers with less than a 1 or 1.5T drive just because of the music I'm STILL collecting. LOL I am happy you gave BTS a chance...and as for Run, definitely! Most are "stand alone" episodes, but they do have a few that cover 2 or 3 episodes each. Honestly, I'd just go from the beginning if you haven't already started them. Though, maybe skipping the first. The first episode is just them introducing the "new" V app...and their expectations/predictions for the show. It's not really *needed*, but it does have its funny moments.
