FAITHandLOGIC One thing to note is that old Biff says “major” sports event. In 1955 the Brooklyn Dodgers won the World Series, that is a major event that would be listed not a game played in June. Also if the book only printed that scores in small print, it wouldn’t eat up a lot of reality on the pages.

Times are just different. Even with music. I feel the best and most fun stuff is already done. Very difficult to get excited about movies today. Look at the new Jurassic Park movies...They kinda blow in comparison to the original. Sure, it's somewhat entertaining but they won't last and you won't be going back to re-watch like you would the original.

Biff was able to find the score of that game pretty quickly. He turns on the radio and within a second, knows what the game is and then finds it in the almanac without flipping any pages lol. Perhaps they could have drawn it out an extra couple seconds to make a slightly more "believable".

Not so sure about that. If I were going to go back in time to hand such a book to MY younger self then once there I'd look up the most surprising late comeback result of the day and how long the play ran for , check what radio channel the live game commentary was on and time my pitch to coincide with the climatic stages of the match in question? Bearing in mind, my younger self would think the current me was barking mad, much the same as younger Biff did, so I'd figure he'd need some Big Reveal quickly to shock him into considering that this insane predicament was actually true. My switching the radio on, searching randomly, then saying "Actually let's just chill for 10 minutes as it doesn't happen for a bit yet" probably wouldn't cut the mustard, likely my younger self would probably just give it up and switch the radio off in boredom (though may actually keep the book as it looked pretty cool😂) Younger Biff would probably do the same, especially given that he had to get ready for the dance etc. It would also perhaps explain why Old Biff was initially so short with him to just get in the car in the first instance and perhaps why he drove like a bit of a maniac to get back to Biff's Grandma's house; because he knew he was on a tight schedule.

I've been wondering why older Biff's visit didn't affect the events of that evening. Younger Biff might have been too distracted by the book to think about anything else during the dance. Yet he still attempted to assault Lorraine and got punched by George at the exact same moment as he did in the first movie.

In the original script, Old Biff was supposed to show in the school parking lot during the school dance in a 50's car. He was supposed to signal Young Biff over. Young Biff, not knowing what it's about, comes over and gets in the car with him. Marty watches through the binoculars and tells Doc over the walkie talkie that he sees Old Biff about to give Young Biff the almanac, over the walkie talkie, Doc says, "Alright. Remember Marty, don't do anything until after Old Biff leaves. We must let Old Biff believe he's succeeded so that he'll leave 1955 and bring the DeLorean back to the future." After Young Biff gets out, Old Biff says, "Biff, you're one lucky guy," and drives off. Biff just looks at the almanac and says, "Butthead," and puts it in his back pocket.
