Relatively speaking. But still anyone at his level is a beast no matter what. heck in my unpopular opinion anyone that steps in that right to fight is a beast. no matter how crappy they are at fighting.

nah you can tell from Buakaws body language and facial expressions hes a bit annoyed. Buakaw wants MUCH MORE ferocity and energy from Kota, but you can clearly tell after each kick he's not happy that Kota isnt roaring his kicks out like Buakaw does normally. especially how he he walks away. hes done cuz Kota isnt putting a roar, or kiai, into each kick.

So... screaming is the secret to a good body kick?

There is science backing that grunting/shouting when exerting yourself allows you to produce more force. This applies to any force, strength or power. Now, this obviously does not mean better technique.

True, oriental asians are generally very reserved people. But ironically enough, the term "Kiai effect" is coined from the names origin in Japanese martial arts, relating to striking or exerting yourself while simultaneously shouting allows you to have higher peak force.

Buakaw wanted Kota to put more roars, or kiai, into each kick. but Kota just kept kicking reserved kicks and not going all out like Buakaw was trying to convey for him to do through body language. by the end Buakaw just walked away annoyed cuz Kota wasnt putting FULL force into each kick
