I just discovered Buckethead a few months ago (2023) after my 60th B-Day. Having played around with the guitar in my youth I was amazed at his technical skill. If I had heard him in my youth, I would have written him off for using so many electronics thinking he used them to coverup his lack of skill. Being older and seeing him play is when I truly saw how amazing he really is in all areas as not only a guitarist, but as a musician in general. While his music is not something I could listen to 24/7, I find myself looking for any video's showing him playing live as his technical skills are off the chart! Just wish I had his hands as they are perfectly built for playing Guitar and Keyboards. The cool part, every time I hear of others that have worked with him and then talk about him, they all say the same thing. That he has the biggest heart and is the most giving/loving individual they have ever met, inside or outside the music business. My one wish for Buckethead? That he didn't have the amount of Social Anxiety that he has to deal with, from his own words off an interview I heard with him. To have all that talent and to deal with that amount of Social Anxiety must be frustrating, not only to him, but to those that would love to see him play more live. TY for posting this video...
@CorneiliusLibowitz

Bluegrass may or may not be your thing, but check out Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle. He uses a lot of electronics in the live shows, but he's perfectly capable of playing pure acoustic. What I like about Buckethead is that he is so much more than just a shredder. He is maybe the best shredder out there, in my opinion. But Paul Gilbert is certainly right up there with him when it comes to shredding. But Buckethead does so much more. He likes to get in a groove and play power chords and simplify things and break things down if the song requires that. I respect that. I love heavy grooves. That's what I do. Oh, and Buckethead is also an amazing fingerpicker; simply amazing.
