As a former Royal Marines Drum Major, my feet hurt watching, but outstanding as always!

Am I right being a DM isn’t as bad as for example being a bass drummer? Since the mace isn’t as heavy as a bass drum? And you get to move your hands more.

Fantastic. Standing inside the forecourt of Buckingham Palace, somewhere that few outside the Household Division and police would ever be. Absolutely great to experience what the musicians see and fantastic opportunity for them and RN to service HM.

Brilliant, as always. I had no idea that Bagley's National Emblem was so popular with HM Royal Marine Bands. In 1968-1971 it was standard fare for U.S. Army Bands during formal ceremonies as the VIPS reviewed the troops. Thank you for the fond memories. POV camera excellent. My POV marching was usually on bass drum, or clarinet. (Oboe in concert.)

As part of some of the footage shot of the recent parade for victory day in Moscow they did something like this , they put a camera on the top of one of the massed bands shellenbaum,s ( called a Bunchuk in Russia) . You could see over the top of the bands as they marched and so on . Pretty clever idea .
