3 coolant temp sensors on the b16 one for the gauge, one for the ecu, one for the fan. Sometimes air is trapped in the head and can mess with temp gauge readings. I run a 90-93 Integra radiator in my b16 crx and my electric fan almost never turns on. Edit: you can always wire up your fan to a manual (fused 30amp) switch inside the car, good to have. props to you for wielding your own exhaust! I did mine with a cheap n easy MIG.

@@zerostarsafety1896 Usually you can find thermostats in higher or lower temp ranges. You can try a lower temp T-stat. The main reason I went with a b18a/b LS Integra radiator was because the larger upper and lower radiator hoses match the larger b16 / b18c inlet and outlet hoses for proper fit and flow. The DA9 radiator drops right in a EF. I've owned almost a dozen hondas over the last 20 years and the only time i've ever had overheating issues was due to a bad radiator. You've done a proper "Pressure test" of the coolant system I assume. Might be hard to find a slow leak but it should hold 16psi for +1hr w/o bleeding off.

Clean EF bro! I've got a very clean 1990 Honda Civic Si EF as well! Going to start building it in the near future. For now it's stock with only 140k original miles on the D16A. Can't wait to start having some fun with it. I've had it covered up in my garage for nearly 6 years now!

yeah bro, gasless mig welding in the first part then at the end I use a stick welder, both are a cheap and easy way of getting into welding!
