@Antoine Bruno yes it is dual led edge lit
@lynchio6719
3 жыл бұрын
@Antoine Bruno Yep, Q60T & Q70T are edge lit and have the same reduced quality the more extreme an angle you watch it from. A C9 OLED should be compared with a Q95T as both 65 inch screens cost the same in the UK. This comparison was the very worst QLED they've released to date. The 2020 T series they did something weird and made the same number TVs as 2019 models, but lowered the quality. So these are basically the same TVs as the 2019 models but they like to charge new prices each year with minimal actual upgrades. So Q60R = Q70T Q70R = Q80T Q80R = Q85T Q85R = Q90T Q90R = Q95T So yeah, the Q70T is equivalent is the bottom of the range Q60R QLED in 2019 model. They did this to confuse consumers deliberately I'm sure of it. I had a salesman tell me that "last year the 2019 model cost £300 more for the same model"... But he was mistaken, as it was actually the same price from the Q80T vs Q70R. People would assume that now they've got a handle on making them that the prices were coming down so it's a great deal. I even pointed this out to a tech channel on KZitem who made the same mistake. The Q70T the is A decent TV, but it should not to be compared to a OLED C9, or B9. Realistically, this should have been against the Q90T or the Q95T to get a fair comparison.

And that was made with older ons. If you go for CX and higher your OLED can easy live longer than 6 years. Only for a desktop usage a QLED is the better choice... but for console gaming and streaming OLED is the best. In HDR you will notice a bigger difference. If you see it side by side in a darker room you would agree. Viewing Angles are also crap on LEDs. On your Video "my setuo specs below" you can see how blueish it looks. Good video mate. Here in Canada the new LG CX and Samsung Q90T are the same price $2,200 for 55” so it’s a tough choice. Watching your video the LG seems to have punchier colors over all but it’s quite reflective. In my apartment one wall is entirely made of windows so in the afternoon it gets bright, in that sense I lean towards the Samsung. I think I’m gonna have to wait till Black Friday to see what is cheaper !

Sometimes you can notice abl with some hdr content when oled brightness and contrast are set to 100. For example in doom eternal where lots of bright stuffs, explosions are blown in front of your face and cover entire screen. But in game like horizon zero dawn for example, there are some extremely bright sceneries and tv doesnt seem to dim. The problem only exist when something very bright is strarting to cover the whole screen.
@SzymonKasperczyk

That being said, max brightness and abl quirks are the only oled flaws. QLED doesnt have it, but it has others quirks. Like half of the dimming zones being disabled in game mode :) So yeah, still the best hdr effect thanks to precision and contrast.

Once you go OLED its hard to look back. QLED/LCD has light bleed which is blooming and that destroys the image for me to some it doesn't really bother them but I see it clearly everything has a milky color washed out look to it. Granted the Q60T is edge lit but even if you compare the Q90T to C9/CX the OLED has more contrast / detail and color accuracy. With QLED you you get quantum dot which in theory punches harder but the blooming off sets it so its not as good as you think and with 1,000 + nits of peak brightness it actually makes the light bleeding worse as I feel with the best tvs it starts with contrast ratio and contrast = OLED. Ive seen so many QLEDS as well even with full array local dimming and ive always felt like the image is missing something it didn't have that depth to it

Did you have the dynamic black equaliser on the Samsung. It’s on by default and shifts the blacks up a bit to help you see things in dark areas….I prefer it set to 0. I would say to anyone out there that whatever tv you buy your going to have a great experience, the more you spend the more you going to get in terms of HDR, reflection handling etc. Also, spoiler alert, 120fps is too me at least, a completely useless feature and not worth the compromise needed in certain situations.
