This video wasn't what convinced me to get a Soul but it did give me more information on some of the features and design elements I didn't know were on the car. I love how quirky it is and honestly it's an extremely comfortable ride. I equate the Soul's cult following to that of Mini Coopers (which was my car before this). Excited to pick up my 2023 GT Line tomorrow Thanks for the great video!

Of course not, the owner is nitpicking all along. Tires, speed, power and so on. Stick to a Ferrari then if all you look for in a car is o-60 in 3 seconds and V12 torque or poser reserve.

I just ordered the 2023 EX version and I am super excited to get it! I wanted the dark green exterior color, so the EX was the only option. I also didn’t feel like the GT line had an interior color that I liked. I owned a 2009 Alien green Soul and sold it when it got to 65,000 miles and I have regretted it ever since!

Horsepower in a front wheel drive vehicle is NOT how you get through winter snow driving. Done this for decades... all weather tires for occasional snow days, dedicated winter tires for heavy snow areas. All horsepower does is fight you on snow; too much will spin your tires, create friction, heat, melt the snow and give you tire spin instead of acceleration. You want acceleration on snow when you press the gas pedal; you don't want tire spin. Get decent tires, a low weight vehicle, and don't worry about horsepower. If anything, stay away from too much horsepower for vehicle weight. You want the ability to turn those tires slowly, because the moment they spin without providing momentum... you are stuck. Friction will melt the snow into water, the ambient temperature will turn that melted snow back into ice, and anything you try to do from that point onwards is just going to spin your tires. And you are stuck. At that point, get out the cat litter, the snow melt salt, and the snow shovel... or call Triple A for a tow. I live in the high Sierra Nevada area; we have maybe 50 really heavy snow days a year. We've got at 100 black ice days, and some years 150. A good snow day will put down 2 feet of snow easy. Do you need a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle to get through fresh snow pack? Nope. If you have that, great, because that works too. But a light weight front wheel drive vehicle with good tires will do the same job. Mine was a Toyota Scion XB... the box vehicle. 2.0 4 cylinder front wheel drive box on wheels... but light. Good all weather tires and never had a single problem. Kinda the reason I'm watching Kia Soul videos... I want another lightweight front wheel drive box, but Toyota doesn't make them anymore. But Kia does... and I'm interested.

Glad you went with the green color display. The purple color looks cartoonish and cheap! I love the GT-Line! Rear seat vents are underbthe front seats. The car has Multi-Port fuel injection, which helps in reliability and longevity. I would change the oil at 500 miles, to begin the breaking in process. Then again at 1500. Miles. Then at 5000 miles. Then you got rid of a lot of things that create friction, and pre-mature gunk destroying the compression of the pistons! Trying for a 10 year + car!

I have a 2021 Kia Soul GDI Turbo and was so disappointed to see Kia dropped the Turbo option. I guess my current Soul will be my last. Once you have driven the Turbo model the Soul is just not as fun anymore. I live in the US so no EV version either so that kind of sucks as well.

Yeah pretty unfortunate they took the turbo off I’m guess it saves them money so in turn it saves us money. Surprised they don’t have the EV in the US I think it would do well there!

You Have the same exact number of subscribers like me LOLz. I want to buy the Kia Rio hatchback. I don't like low to the ground Kia Rio hard to drive watching the traffic light when your a tall person. The Kia Soul is not much more it's higher off the grounds very easy to see the traffic lights. I might wait for the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid it a bit more I might buy the base model for the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid. The Kai Soul interior looks too much of a Fiat 500 which i don't like.

I bought a new Kia Soul Exclaim in 2012. Best car I ever had. I had to replace the starter at 155K miles, but it's been a flawless daily driver otherwise. All my other cars were on their death beds by 120K miles. Now, my Soul is approaching 180K miles and still running like new. I keep eyeing new cars, such as a Niro hybrid or PHEV, but why? My Soul just keeps performing. TBH, I'm tempted to just get a new Soul when the time comes instead of a more expensive car like a Niro and pocket the cash difference.
