If you still check this. Where did you find the replacement part? I need one, but can't find one. Got a 2004 model.

What size are those pins on the plug I just purchased a new ignition module that didn’t come with pins

I believe they are Deutsch DT connectors. The pins were already on the module when I bought it, that was 8 or 9 years ago. I’ve disassembled and repainted a bunch of these connectors but I don’t have the specific crimped tool to attach them to the wires. Maybe the old module wires could be cut off at the module and spliced onto your new module and tuck and hide any excess wire from the new connection??

Its probably a little late now but I got the part from the Harley dealer. They still carry some Buell parts. I'm not sure where we can go once Harley runs out. Not all Harley dealers carry Buell parts only the dealers that actually sold Buells may have parts for them.

I bought it at the Destination Daytona Harley dealership. The part is sitting on the Harley bag. That was about 6 or 7 years ago though. Harley dealers that sold buells may still have some parts. You should call your Harley dealer to find out. If not at the dealer Maybe amazon or eBay? I’m still riding this bike and it’s still running well except for cold starts below 50°, those are some hard start mornings.

How do you know if your module is bad?

kzitem.info/news/bejne/xY2VzXiBnYGVln4 This video is before the one we are on here. The ignition module is in the side of the engine case and it gets hot, whatever the normal engine temperature is. When the module ages it becomes temperature sensitive and quite working when it gets hot. My video shows a cold start and erratic at best ignition pulse. (Each flash of that red light is when the spark plug fires). When cold it worked ok but still had miss fires and 4 or 5 minutes after startup the bike would just quit running until it was cool again.
