Mosquitoes *are* vicious creatures! I am very sensitive to their bites and they love me. 🙄

There are so many issues with this set up. First, please get some 1 inch webbing to go around the tree because all that weight on the rope digs into the tree and bark and damages the tree. Second, that hammock is way too small for you. You need a 11 foot hammock or at minimum a 10 foot hammock. Third, you’re hanging your hammock way too tight. You need more sag (and a longer hammock) so you can get a diagonal lay. Forth, bring that bug net down closer to the hammock because the way you’re hanging it is putting a lot of pressure on the bug net at the ridge line because as you get in the hammock the hammock straps pull down on the bug net. So your bug net is better off on the ridge line that you attached directly to the hammock. With these corrections you’re going to absolutely love hammock camping and your equipment will last a long time. Also, you won’t be damaging the trees you’re hanging from. Cheers.
