This pump can solve any off grid water application, including the dreaded float valve application most people trying to use a 12v pump have, I designed this pump 5 years ago, adding the AC pressure switch to a DC pump is unheard of, this pump can take down the water company anywhere that gets decent rain.

@@MosaicHomestead i used a cistern and 12v pump at my last house for water security. I never did the float valve thing though. I just manually refilled the cistern periodically. Only trick was you had to be sure to turn off the water to avoid flooding the vmbasement when you refilled it. Needless to say i flooded my basement on multiple occasions.

This looks familiar. I just hooked up a float switch/submersible pump well setup for a friend for a cattle water tank yesterday. 240 v application with no pressure tank.
@MosaicHomestead

Submersible is different, but I do believe that they have a 12v option, 12v problem is gpm, but I believe I solved that problem already, in the future I will put up another pump design.

This is exactly what I’ve been doing the last week. I’m rerouting a lot of our water system and installing a 1hp booster pump because the district water I'm switching to using only comes in at 6 psi. 500 ft of trenches for water and electric, pumps, filters. Big job I’m tired AF.
@MosaicHomestead

A 1hp pump socks up a lot of power, but moves a lot more gallons per minute, my pumps are for off grid solar applications because they use a lot less power, but move a lot less water, but I believe I solved this problem already with a new pump design I got in my head.

I wanted to ask you, is this type of 12 volt pump suitable for staying on for at least two hours without burning out? My need is to water a small vegetable garden, in the meantime, I wish you a good day
@MosaicHomestead

Yes, the blue accumulation tank in the bottom helps with longevity of the pump, but I don't know the application you are doing, for longer longevity of pump, you can run a bigger 12v pump, for a big garden I would run a 7 gallon per minute pump with a 20 gallon accumulation tank for 45 minutes, this set up will last you for years.
