Speaking for myself, I’d be interested in chest fly variations, or a ring instead of bench pullover?

I remember the first time I tried the ring push-up a few months ago and I could barely do one. It feels good to be able to do them now like any normal push-up and then experiment with them. 😎

My boy Training Pal made an impression on me years ago when he was uploading and I finally bought a pair. I really hope that guy is okay, he never explained his departure. God bless you friend bodyweight training for bodybuilding/strength not only feels amazing but the ease of recovery is undeniable.

This video explains it so well, especially how all the muscle groups are targeted!! I just have a quick question regarding the bracing of the core. With any calisthenics exercise, do you A. Keep the core braced throughout the entire movement? or B. Un-brace the core after completing the rep, and then re-brace for the next rep? If the answer is "A", won't this make every exercise extremely difficult because you'll just be constantly out of breath (lack of oxygen) because you have to keep the core braced the whole time.

Appreciate the kind words! Option A only depends on the exercises performed. Here yes it’s good to keep the core braced so that you don’t collapse the lower back. Most calisthenics exercises are closed kinetic chain exercises. Meaning our hands are fixed while our body moves so more than one muscle group will usually come into play, the core being one of them. Now how much it comes into play depends on the exercise used. Bracing the core does not cause you to lose your breath. You’re probably thinking of “holding your breath” to brace your core. While standing, breath In, contract your abs, breath out and maintain that contraction while continuing to breath. You can still have the abs “turned on” while breathing. If that’s an issue it’ll be a matter of practice with easier variations first, and even the practice of bracing the core while breathing in a standing position Hope this helps!

@@BodyweightProcess thank you so much for the clarification! I'll be sure to practice core bracing while talking as well in day to day life. It's something hard to get used to as a beginner.
