I LOVE that piece of wood you used for the top! An awesome salvage!

Nice, thank you. I love finding old wood with history and bringing it back to life. The redwood really comes alive with that spar varnish.

Hey! I love your channel. This is totally awesome. I was wondering how you adhered the cabinet to the bus. Did you drill it into the floor? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! I did screw through the floor with 4 larger screws...I also mounted a 3" strip of 5/8" ply to the metal support for the seat back. I attached the top part of the cabinet to this to prevent any movement or flex at the top part of the cabinet. It is really solid, no movement at all.

Im starting my build. Nice what you've done so far. Do you have room to grab the door handle from inside?

Yes, there is room. I wanted to make sure that I was able to open it from the inside, so I made sure to mount that collapsable shelf lower than the handle...then I positioned the cabinet and checked (twice/three times, maybe!) on the floor and made sure I could grab the inside handle and open the sliding door. Then I screwed it down.
