Right! Definitely one of my more favorite builds that we have reviewed.

Have you ever used 4.88 Axle Gears on your 40" tires? I was just thinking that it would possibly give you better mpgs to counter act running heavy wheels and tires.

I know im a bit late on this response. I kinda wish they got more into the gearing and engine. Im assuming that this jeep is still running the 3.8. Good motor and with a few upgrades should be able to push the 40s with some gears. I actually have an 07 wrangler. Sits on 1 tons (5.38s). Even has an atlas. The motor is stock other then a few things to help it flow better and I did a computer tune. Big help to be honest. Now my jeep is a 2 door so I might go with 38s over 40s unless I stretch it some. Though I have seen some non stretched 2 doors do amazing on 40s. As far as running 4.88s with 40s. I would not. Your up the grade travel will suck really bad. Now with that said if you are set on going to 40s then try it out with the 4.88 and be ready to regear if you are not happy with it. If you are on one tons then cool. If not then be mindful when wheeling. If you are going to gear into 5.38s that pinion gets really small in a dana 44.

Depends on location, what you're looking at and the shape of them. Your best bet is to check KBB values on the vehicles in your area.

This guy does not know anything about built JKs. Decent rig but he did not know how to describe it or why it was built the way it has been built.

We are always open to hearing feedback! I'm curious as to how exactly you would describe a built up JKU on tons and 40's? What would be some key talking points that we should go through on the next built-up JKU? Thanks!

Wow! Coil springs in ALL four corners? I bet that cost a fortune!

@@ht1973 i mean its worth mentioning the type of suspension considering a lot of people go coilovers when going that crazy on a build.
