Couple tips from a guy that's been in the pool business for a couple of decades. It's hard to tell in the video, so maybe you've done this, but the pipes need to be inside a sleeve when they come through the pad or have the pipes come up through a formed opening in the pad. I've seen the pad settle and break the pipes under because of the stress. If they're separated from the pad and the pad moves, the pipes break/leak above ground and it's way easier to fix. Also, you need a chemical resistant check valve between the heater and chlorine feeder. I can give you the correct Pentair PN if you want it. Pentair has multiple check valves, but only one is rated to prevent chemical backflow into the heater. Lastly, IDK what part of the country you're in, but if you have cottonwood trees or any kind of tree that drops similar types of seeds, you should try to avoid sand filters. I remove a lot of sand filters here (NE Kansas) and install cartridge filters. A cartridge filter and a salt chlorine generator paired with a Superflo is my go-to set-up for pad replacements. I've been doing it that way for years and every customer that comes from a single speed pump, sand filter, and tablets, loves it. Lastly, thank you so much for all of your ICF info! I'm hoping to take my first ICF project this fall. I'm going to build a detached garage so I can move all of my pool service equipment out of the attached garage so we can actually park our cars inside. All of your videos have been huge help to me, so any knowledge I have that I could share with you, I'd love to pass along.

I saw another video of this pool before the concrete was poured and you mentioned you used build blocks icf for this pool, what steps were involved to get the walls ready for eco? I want to do a lazy river build block design myself and would really like the eco over a vynil liner. Thanks

What’s total of the resin final coat about 8-10mm the coat you do with a flamethrower on?

The color cost is not resin, it’s thermoplastic that’s bonding with the epoxy resin that’s etched into the concrete, it’s usually about 20mil
