These videos make it look easy, but this surely was backbreaking work. Well done.

Luckily I could use gravity to roll those 6x6’s down the hill to where I needed them, but a soaking wet PT 6x6 isn’t light by any means 😂🤣🤣.

I hope your kid is doing well. Our family had an experience with Make A Wish! They really did a great job for our son.

@@dougschock8806 Thank you 🙏 Unfortunately my son lost his battle to brain cancer in February 😢. He fought a good fight and kept a positive attitude the whole time. We’re thankful for all the wonderful moments we had together and we’ll continue to memorialize him. Our Make-a-wish trip was just one of those unforgettable trips. They made our experience absolutely fantastic. The give kids the world resort we stayed at was so awesome. My wife and I plan on volunteering with the group in the future.

Get the neighbor to redirect his roof water onto his own property

@@brianrobbins3499 when you’re downhill from them there’s not much you can do. I did later redirect the water to dump out into the woods. But it still ran downhill onto my property.

Great video! The steps look great - I'm building something similar to this with 6x6s. One question I had, how did you drill the timberlock screws to connect the step to the treads? I've tried and have faced a lot of resistance - the screws don't go in easily at all. Thanks

@@deveshvenkat5383 nope I don’t pre-drill. I did end up buying a newer impact driver about 1/4 way through because my old one was pretty worn out. The metabo triple hammer made easy work of it.

@@macgyver03ga Got it, thanks. Not sure if you mentioned in the video, but could you tell me what the specs of the timberlock screws are?

Great video!! Thinking about the same thing but I have more of a slope…I was thinking about using 4x8 all around instead of your 4x6 & 6x6…. Any thoughts on that? Looks beautiful, nice job! Very watchable 😂

Thanks! Probably would be fine using 4x8. Max riser height allowed is 7.75” so you should be good.

Almost unwatchable - move your camera slower, and also allow viewers a little time to focus on what you're showing, rather than quickly jumping to the next spot.

Sorry my videos aren’t up to your standards, I’ll be sure to keep that in mind next time… 🙄
