Nice job. Them grey tegs make a nice contrast to the paving. The path makes a nice separation, breaks up the paving, and creates interest. Would like to see the job when turfed and planted. Quality work.

Much respect. People do not realize how tough this is to do without heavy equipment. Hand digging/spreading anything sucks. My back started to hurt 5 seconds in. Workmanlike job young man that will hold up a long time.

In the Netherlands they just make the sand level even and lay the tiles, that's it. Respect for your professionalism 🤜🏼

You can use a tamper on it, just make sure it’s throttled down. I’ve done it several times and never saw a broken piece.

Make sure you inspect your soil for installation Usually you would want a protective barrier between the ground soil and then your crushed stone/aggregate

@@itsjustme6942 it's building practice. Soil easily works it's way into a hardcore subbase over time, weakening it over time. Membrane acts as a wrap to prevent errosion

Когда стержень прогибаться снизу ручкой молотка подбивает грунт и он поднимается и ещё во внутрь насыпьте песок а края запаяйте и стержни берите диаметром побольше ,а так руку надо нарабатывать

It'll be kiln dried sand. (Very fine) The whacker sends it into the joints and locks it all together.

@MrBucitis when I took the icpi course it said to never compact your leveling layer. Compact the pavers once they're down. If it works it works, I've just been told otherwise.

They were just used as guide rails to ensure the sand base was level. He removed them- you can see him fill the two grooves they left behind afterwards.
