The Bulk Purchasing Department here at Hawker Diddley-Dum recently sourced a pretty tidy haul of 1/72 scale Airfix starter sets from low-cost supermarkets, Aldi and Lidl.
The Disbursement Department decided it would be a good idea to "share the wealth" as it were, and has boxed up and dispatched the majority of the models, along with some tools, to the charity Models for Heroes.
This worthy organisation takes models and supplies and distributes them to veterans' charities to use as aids in recovery and treatment for PTSD and other mental and physical conditions.
If you have any spare, complete models that you won't ever get around to building (and let's face it, we all do), why not consider sending them over? It might make a real difference to someone.
