Typically when we build floors for out hot rods we use thinner sheet metal, and add some beads to add strength to the panel. For the 33 3 Window Matt decided to take a different approach with thicker metal that will not need any type of additional work to make it stronger. The front portion of the floor will be made with 12 gauge and the rear section over the step in the frame will be 14 gauge. The additional strength at the front portion will allow us to weld and mount tabs where necessary and not worry about the sheet metal ripping. Time to fire up the Eastwood Plasma and get to work! Let us know in the comments what you think of this approach to floors!
